2:15 ForIndeed indeed the handLords ofown thehand Lord was against them to destroyroot them out from the camp until theyall had perished
2:16 SoJust whenas soon as all the menwarriors of war had perisheddied andoff were dead from among the people

8:5 Know then in your heart that as a manparent disciplines hisa sonchild so the Lord your God disciplines you
8:6 SoTherefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him
8:7 For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land a land ofwith brooksflowing ofstreams waterwith ofsprings fountains and springsunderground flowingwaters forthwelling up in valleys and hills

8:19 AndIf if you do forget the Lord your God and gofollow after other gods andto serve them and worship them I solemnly warn you thistoday day that you shall surely perish
8:20 Like the nations that the Lord makesis todestroying perish before you so shall you perish because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God
9:1 Hear O Israel; youYou are about to passcross over the Jordan thistoday day to go in toand dispossess nations greaterlarger and mightier than yourselvesyou cities great andcities fortified up to heaventhe heavens
9:2 a peoplestrong great and tall people the sonsoffspring of the Anakim whom you know andYou of whom you have heard it said of them Who can stand beforeup to the sonsAnakim of Anak
9:3 Know thereforethen thistoday day that hethe Lord your God is the one who goescrosses over before you as a devouring fire is the Lord your God; he will destroydefeat them and subdue them before you; so that you shallmay drivedispossess them out and makedestroy them perish quickly as the Lord has promised you
9:4 DoWhen not say in your heart after the Lord your God hasthrusts thrust them out before you do not say to yourself It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possessoccupy this land; whereas it is rather because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is drivingdispossessing them out before you
9:5 NotIt is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart arethat you are going in to possessoccupy their land; but because of the wickedness of these nations the Lord your God is drivingdispossessing them out from before you andin thatorder heto mayfulfill confirm the wordpromise whichthat the Lord sworemade on oath to your fathersancestors to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob
9:6 Know thereforethen that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possessoccupy because of your righteousness; for you are a stubborn people
9:7 Remember and do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness; you have been rebellious against the Lord from the day you came out of the land of Egypt until you came to this place you have been rebellious against the Lord
9:9 When I went up the mountain to receive the tablesstone oftablets stone the tablestablets of the covenant whichthat the Lord made with you I remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water
9:10 And the Lord gave me the two tablesstone oftablets stone written with the finger of God; and on them were all the words whichthat the Lord had spoken withto you onat the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly
9:11 AndAt at the end of forty days and forty nights the Lord gave me the two tablesstone oftablets stone the tablestablets of the covenant
9:12 Then the Lord said to me AriseGet up go down quickly from here; for your people whom you have brought from Egypt have acted corruptly; theyThey have turnedbeen asidequick quicklyto outturn offrom the way whichthat I commanded them; they have madecast themselvesan aimage moltenfor imagethemselves
9:13 Furthermore the Lord said to me I have seen that this people andis beholdindeed it is a stubborn people;
9:14 letLet me alone that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven; and I will make of you a nation mightier and greatermore numerous than they
9:15 So I turned and camewent down from the mountain andwhile the mountain was burning with fireablaze; and the two tablestablets of the covenant were in my two hands
9:16 AndThen I lookedsaw andthat behold you had indeed sinned against the Lord your God; youby hadcasting madefor yourselves an image of a molten calf; you had turnedbeen asidequick quicklyto turn from the way whichthat the Lord had commanded you
9:17 So I took hold of the two tablestablets and castflung them outfrom of my two hands andsmashing broke them before your eyes
9:18 Then I lay prostrate before the Lord as before forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water because of all the sin which you had committed inprovoking the Lord by doing what was evil in thehis sight of the Lord to provoke him to anger
9:19 For I was afraid ofthat the anger andthat hot displeasure which the Lord bore against you was so fierce that he waswould ready to destroy you But the Lord hearkenedlistened to me that time also
9:20 AndThe the Lord was so angry with Aaron that he was ready to destroy him; andbut I prayedinterceded foralso on behalf of Aaron also at thethat same time
9:21 Then I took the sinful thing the calf which you had made the calf and burned it with fire and crushed it grinding it verythoroughly small until it was asreduced fineto as dust; and I threw the dust of it into the brookstream that descendedruns outdown of the mountain
9:22 At Tab′erahTaberah also and at Massah and at Kib′rothKibroth hatta′avahhattaavah you provoked the Lord to wrath
9:23 And when the Lord sent you from Ka′deshKadesh bar′neabarnea saying Go up and takeoccupy possession of the land whichthat I have given you then you rebelled against the commandmentcommand of the Lord your God andneither didtrusting not believe him ornor obeyobeying hishim voice
9:24 You have been rebellious against the Lord fromas thelong dayas thathe Ihas knewknown you
9:25 SoThroughout I lay prostrate before the Lord for these forty days and forty nights becausethat I lay prostrate before the Lord hadwhen saidthe heLord wouldintended to destroy you
9:26 And I prayed to the Lord Oand said Lord God destroydo not thydestroy the people andwho thyare heritageyour very own possession whom thouyou hast redeemed throughin thyyour greatness whom thouyou hast brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand
9:27 Remember thyyour servants Abraham Isaac and Jacob; dopay notno regardattention to the stubbornness of this people or their wickedness orand their sin
9:28 lestotherwise the land from which thouyou didsthave bringbrought us might say Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land whichthat he promised them and because he hated them he has brought them out to slaylet them die in the wilderness
9:29 For they are thythe people andof thyyour heritagevery own possession whom thouyou didstbrought bring out by thyyour great power and by thyyour outstretched arm
10:1 At that time the Lord said to me HewCarve out two tablestablets of stone like the firstformer ones and come up to me on the mountain and make an ark of wood
10:2 And I will write on the tablestablets the words that were on the firstformer tablestablets which you brokesmashed and you shall put them in the ark
10:3 So I made an ark of acacia wood andcut hewed two tablestablets of stone like the firstformer ones and went up the mountain with the two tablestablets in my hand
10:4 AndThen he wrote on the tablestablets asthe atsame thewords firstas writingbefore the ten commandments whichthat the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me
10:5 ThenSo I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tablestablets in the ark whichthat I had made; and there they are as the Lord commanded me
10:6 The peopleIsraelites of Israel journeyed from BeBeeroth er′othbene Benejaakan ja′akan to Mose′rahMoserah There Aaron died and there he was buried; and his son Elea′zarEleazar ministeredsucceeded him as priest in his stead
10:7 From there they journeyed to Gud′godahGudgodah and from Gud′godahGudgodah to Jot′bathahJotbathah a land with brooksflowing ofstreams water
10:9 Therefore Levi has no portionallotment or inheritance with his brotherskindred; the Lord is his inheritance as the Lord your God saidpromised to him
10:10 I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights as atI had done the first time fortyAnd daysonce andagain forty nights and the Lord hearkenedlistened to me thatThe time also; the Lord was unwilling to destroy you
10:11 AndThe the Lord said to me AriseGet up go on your journey at the head of the people that they may go in and possessoccupy the land whichthat I swore to their fathersancestors to give them
10:12 AndSo now O Israel what does the Lord your God require of you butOnly to fear the Lord your God to walk in all his ways to love him to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul

10:15 yet the Lord set his heart in love uponon your fathersancestors alone and chose you their descendants after them youout aboveof all the peoples as atit thisis daytoday
10:16 Circumcise thereforethen the foreskin of your heart and do not be nostubborn any longer stubborn

10:18 Hewho executes justice for the fatherlessorphan and the widow and who loves the sojournerstrangers givingproviding himthem food and clothing
10:19 LoveYou shall also love the sojournerstranger therefore; for you were sojournersstrangers in the land of Egypt

10:22 Your fathersancestors went down to Egypt seventy persons; and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars ofin heaven for multitude
11:1 You shall therefore love the Lord your God therefore and keep his charge his statutesdecrees his ordinances and his commandments always
11:2 AndRemember considertoday thisthat dayit sincewas I am not speaking to your children who have not known or seen it consider the discipline of the Lord your God but it is you who must acknowledge his greatness his mighty hand and his outstretched arm

11:5 and what he did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place;
11:6 and what he did to Dathan and Abi′ramAbiram the sons of Eli′abEliab son of Reuben; how in the midst of all Israel the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up along with their households their tents and every living thingbeing that followed them in thetheir midst of all Israelcompany;
