1:2 toTo the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call uponon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:
1:4 I thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,
1:8 who shallwill also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1:10 Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1:15 so that no manone shouldwould say you were baptized in my name.
1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ shouldwould not be made void.
1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1:22 For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom;
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness,
1:28 and the base things of the world and the despised, God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He mightmay nullify the things that are,
1:29 so that no man shouldmay boast before God.
1:31 so that, just as it is written, Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.
2:3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.,
2:4 Andand my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
2:5 so that your faith shouldwould not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
2:6 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away;
2:7 but we speak Gods wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages to our glory;
2:8 the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;
2:11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.
2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we mightmay know the things freely given to us by God,
2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God;, for they are foolishness to him,; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
2:15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no manone.
2:16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he shouldwill instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babesinfants in Christ.
3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, aslike a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building uponon it. But let each man must be careful how he builds uponon it.
3:12 Now if any man builds uponon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
3:13 each mans work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with fire;, and the fire itself will test the quality of each mans work.
3:14 If any mans work which he has built uponon it remains, he shallwill receive a reward.
3:15 If any mans work is burned up, he shallwill suffer loss; but he himself shallwill be saved, yet so as through fire.
3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, lethe himmust become foolish, so that he may become wise.
4:1 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
4:3 But to me it is a very small thing that I shouldmay be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.
4:6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you mightmay learn not to exceed what is written, inso order that no one of you mightwill become arrogant in behalf of one against the other.
4:7 For who regards you as superior? AndWhat what do you have that you did not receive? ButAnd if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
4:8 You are already filled, you have already become rich, you have become kings without us; and indeed, I wouldwish indeed that you had become kings so that we also might reign with you.
4:15 For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers;, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.
4:16 Therefore I exhort you therefore, be imitators of me.
4:19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant, but their power.
4:20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power.
4:21 What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness?
5:2 AndYou you have become arrogant, and have not mourned instead, inso order that the one who had done this deed mightwould be removed from your midst.
5:5 I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
5:7 Clean out the old leaven, so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.
5:8 LetTherefore let us therefore celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
5:10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters;, for then you would have to go out of the world.
5:11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so called brother if he shouldis be an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler —not even to eat with such a one.
6:1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? AndIf if the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?
6:3 Do you not know that we shallwill judge angels? How much more, matters of this life?
6:4 IfSo thenif you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church?
6:8 On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud,. andYou thatdo this even to your brethren.
6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shallwill not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
6:10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shallwill inherit the kingdom of God.
6:11 AndSuch such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
6:13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food;, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord;, and the Lord is for the body.
6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a harlotprostitute? May it never be!
6:16 Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a harlotprostitute is one body with her? For He says, The two willshall become one flesh.
7:2 But because of immoralities, let each man is to have his own wife, and let each woman is to have her own husband.
7:3 LetThe the husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
7:5 Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again lestso that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self control.
7:9 But if they do not have self control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
7:11 but if she does leave, letshe hermust remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband, and that the husband should not senddivorce his wife away.
7:12 But to the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, lethe himmust not senddivorce her away.
7:13 And a woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, letshe hermust not send her husband away.
7:17 Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this manner let him walk. And thusso I direct in all the churches.
7:18 Was any man called when he was already circumcised? LetHe himis not to become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? LetHe himis not to be circumcised.
7:20 LetEach each man must remain in that condition in which he was called.
7:24 Brethren, let each manone is to remain with God in that condition in which he was called.
7:28 But if you should marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin should marrymarries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have trouble in this life, and I am trying to spare you.
7:34 and his interests are divided. AndThe the woman who is unmarried, and the virgin, is concerned about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and spirit; but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
7:35 AndThis this I say for your own benefit; not to put a restraint upon you, but to promote what is seemly,appropriate and to secure undistracted devotion to the Lord.
7:36 But if any man thinks that he is acting unbecomingly toward his virgin daughter, if she shouldis bepast ofher full ageyouth, and if it must be so, let him do what he wishes, he does not sin; let her marry.
8:6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
8:9 But take care lestthat this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
8:12 And thusso, by sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
8:13 Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I mightwill not cause my brother to stumble.
9:5 Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
9:7 Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard, and does not eat the fruit of it? Or who tends a flock and does not use the milk of the flock?
9:11 If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we should reap material things from you?
9:12 If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things, so that we maywill cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
9:13 Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share withfrom the altar?
9:15 But I have used none of these things. And I am not writing these things so that it maywill be done so in my case; for it would be better for me to die than have any man make my boast an empty one.
9:19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I mightmay win the more.
9:20 AndTo to the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law, though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law;
9:21 to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law.
9:22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.
9:23 And I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.
9:25 AndEveryone everyone who competes in the games exercises self control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
9:27 but I buffetdiscipline my body and make it my slave, lestso possiblythat, after I have preached to others, I myself shouldwill not be disqualified.
10:1 For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:6 Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we shouldwould not crave evil things, as they also craved.
10:7 AndDo do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and stood up to play.
10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lestthat he does not fall.
10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you maywill be able to endure it.
10:20 No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons.
10:25 Eat anything that is sold in the meat market, without asking questions for conscience sake;
10:27 If one of the unbelievers invites you, and you wishwant to go, eat anything that is set before you, without asking questions for conscience sake.
10:28 But if anyone shouldsays say to you, This is meat sacrificed to idols, do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for conscience sake;
10:33 just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, so that they may be saved.
11:2 Now I praise you because you remember me in everything, and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you.
11:4 Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying, disgraces his head.
11:5 But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying, disgraces her head;, for she is one and the same withas herthe woman whose head is shaved.
11:13 Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
11:18 For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that divisions exist among you; and in part, I believe it.
11:19 For there must also be factions among you, inso order that those who are approved may have become evident among you.
11:22 What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the church of God, and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I will not praise you.
11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.
11:25 In the same way He took the cup also, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.
11:28 But let a man must examine himself, and in so letdoing himhe is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
11:29 For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he does not judge the body rightly.
11:31 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we shouldwould not be judged.
11:32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord inso order that we maywill not be condemned along with the world.
11:34 If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that you maywill not come together for judgment. AndThe the remaining matters I shallwill arrange when I come.
12:2 You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the dumbmute idols, however you were led.
12:3 Therefore I make known to you, that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, Jesus is accursed; and no one can say, Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.
12:6 AndThere there are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.
12:15 If the foot should saysays, Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body, it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body.
12:16 And if the ear should saysays, Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body, it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body.
12:19 AndIf if they were all one member, where would the body be?
12:23 and those members of the body, which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our unseemlyless presentable members comebecome tomuch have more abundant seemlinesspresentable,
12:24 whereas our seemlymore presentable members have no need of it. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked,
12:25 so that there shouldmay be no division in the body, but that the members shouldmay have the same care for one another.
13:2 AndIf if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
13:3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliversurrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
13:11 When I was a child, I used to speak aslike a child, think aslike a child, reason aslike a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.
13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shallwill know fully just as I also have been fully known.
13:13 But now abide faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
14:2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.
14:6 But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what shallwill I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation or of knowledge or of prophecy or of teaching?
14:11 If then I do not know the meaning of the language, I shallwill be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who speaks will be a barbarian to me.
14:15 What is the outcome then? I shallwill pray with the spirit and I shallwill pray with the mind also; I shallwill sing with the spirit and I shallwill sing with the mind also.
14:17 For you are giving thanks well enough, but the other manperson is not edified.
14:19 however, in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind, so that I may instruct others also, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.
14:20 Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be babesinfants, but in your thinking be mature.
14:22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign, not to unbelievers, but to those who believe.
14:23 IfTherefore thereforeif the whole church shouldassembles assemble together and all speak in tongues, and ungifted men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad?
14:27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and let one must interpret;
14:28 but if there is no interpreter, lethe himmust keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God.
14:29 AndLet let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment.
14:30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, let the first one must keep silent.
14:34 LetThe the women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but letare themto subject themselves, just as the Law also says.
14:35 AndIf if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.
14:40 But let all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.
15:8 and last of all, as it were to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.
15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, whoand am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
15:15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we witnessedtestified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.
15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shallwill be made alive.
15:24 then comes the end, when He delivershands upover the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
15:28 AndWhen when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.
15:31 I protestaffirm, brethren, by the boasting in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
15:45 So also it is written, The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became a lifegivinglife giving spirit.
15:49 AndJust just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shallwill also bear the image of the heavenly.
15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shallwill not all sleep, but we shallwill all be changed,
15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shallwill be changed.
16:2 On the first day of every week let each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.
16:3 AndWhen when I arrive, whomever you may approve, I shallwill send them with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem;
16:5 But I shallwill come to you after I go through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia;
16:6 and perhaps I shallwill stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go.
16:8 But I shallwill remain in Ephesus until Pentecost;
16:10 Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without cause to be afraid;, for he is doing the Lords work, as I also am.
16:11 LetSo let no one therefore despise him. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren.
16:17 And I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus;, because they have supplied what was lacking on your part.
16:21 The greeting is in my own hand —Paul.
16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord, lethe himis to be accursed. Maranatha.
