12:7 My servant Moses is not so,; whohe is faithful in all mine house.:
12:8 Withwith him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparentlymanifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the similitudeform of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?

13:3 And Moses bysent them from the commandmentwilderness of theParan Lordaccording sentto them from the wildernesscommandment of Paranthe Lord: all thoseof them men who were heads of the children of Israel.
13:8 Of the tribe of Ephraim, OsheaHoshea the son of Nun.
13:16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called OsheaHoshea the son of Nun JehoshuaJoshua.
13:17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southwardby the South, and go up into the mountainmountains:
13:18 Andand see the land, what it is,; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, whether they be few or many;
13:19 Andand what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tentscamps, or in strong holds;
13:20 Andand what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.
13:21 So they went up, and searchedspied out the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, asto menthe comeentering toin of Hamath.
13:22 And they ascendedwent up by the southSouth, and came unto Hebron; whereand Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were there. Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.
13:23 And they came unto the brookvalley of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff between two; and they brought also of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
13:24 TheThat place was called the brookvalley of Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
13:25 And they returned from searchingspying ofout the land afterat the end of forty days.
13:28 NeverthelessHowbeit the people be strong that dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are walledfenced, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
13:29 TheAmalek Amalekitesdwelleth dwell in the land of the southSouth: and the HittitesHittite, and the JebusitesJebusite, and the AmoritesAmorite, dwell in the mountains: and the CanaanitesCanaanite dwelldwelleth by the sea, and along by the coastside of Jordan.
13:32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searchedspied out unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to searchspy it out, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
13:33 And there we saw the giantsNephilim, the sons of Anak, which come of the giantsNephilim: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
14:3 And wherefore hathdoth the Lord broughtbring us unto this land, to fall by the sword,? thatOur our wives and our childrenlittle shouldones shall be a prey?: were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
14:6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searchedspied out the land, rent their clothes:
14:7 Andand they spake unto all the companycongregation of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to searchspy it out, is an exceeding good land.
14:8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it unto us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
14:9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departedremoved from over them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.
14:10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacletent of themeeting congregationunto before all the children of Israel.
14:11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provokedespise me? and how long will itthey benot erebelieve theyin believe me, for all the signs which I have shewedwrought among them?
14:12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a nation greater nation and mightier than they.
14:13 And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it,; for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;
14:14 Andand they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art amongin the midst of this people,; thatfor thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of acloud cloudby day, and in a pillar of fire by night.
14:15 Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
14:17 And now, I beseechpray thee, let the power of mythe Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
14:18 The Lord is longsufferingslow to anger, and ofplenteous greatin mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and that will by no means clearingclear the guilty,; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, untoupon the third and upon the fourth generation.
14:19 Pardon, I beseechpray thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and according as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
14:21 Butbut asin trulyvery deed, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.;
14:22 Becausebecause all those men which have seen my glory, and my miraclessigns, which I didwrought in Egypt and in the wilderness, andyet have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
14:23 Surelysurely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provokeddespised me see it:
14:24 Butbut my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
14:25 Now the AmalekitesAmalekite and the CanaanitesCanaanite dweltdwell in the valley.: Tomorrowtomorrow turn youye, and get you into the wilderness by the way ofto the Red seaSea.
14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, surely as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
14:29 Youryour carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me.,
14:30 Doubtlesssurely ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I swarelifted toup my hand that I would make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
14:31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despisedrejected.
14:32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.
14:33 And your children shall wanderbe wanderers in the wilderness forty years, and shall bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wastedconsumed in the wilderness.
14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searchedspied out the land, even forty days, eachfor every day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promisealienation.
14:35 I the Lord have saidspoken, Isurely this will surelyI do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
14:36 And the men, which Moses sent to searchspy out the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up aan slanderevil uponreport against the land,
14:37 Eveneven those men that did bring up thean evil report uponof the land, died by the plague before the Lord.
14:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, whichremained werealive of thethose men that went to searchspy out the land, lived still.
14:39 And Moses told these sayingswords unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

14:42 Go not up, for the Lord is not among you; that ye be not smitten down before your enemies.
14:43 For there the AmalekitesAmalekite and the CanaanitesCanaanite are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned awayback from following the Lord, therefore the Lord will not be with you.
14:44 But they presumed to go up untoto the hilltop topof the mountain: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
14:45 Then the AmalekitesAmalekite came down, and the CanaanitesCanaanite which dwelt in that hillmountain, and smote them, and discomfitedbeat them down, even unto Hormah.

15:32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man thatgathering gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
15:34 And they put him in ward, because it washad not been declared what should be done to him.
15:35 And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall surely be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.

16:1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, andwith Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
16:2 Andand they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assemblycongregation, famouscalled into the congregationassembly, men of renown:
16:3 Andand they gatheredassembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregationassembly of the Lord?
16:5 Andand he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, EvenIn tothe morrowmorning the Lord will shew who are his, and who is holy;, and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hathshall chosenchoose will he cause to come near unto him.
16:6 This do; Taketake you censers, Korah, and all his company;
16:7 Andand put fire therein, and put incense inupon them before the Lord to morrowtomorrow: and it shall be that the man whom the Lord doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
16:8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray younow, ye sons of Levi:
16:9 Seemethseemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself; to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?;
16:10 Andand that he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee:? and seek ye the priesthood also?
16:11 ForTherefore which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the Lord: and Aaron, what is Aaron,he that ye murmur against him?
16:12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: whichand they said, We will not come up:
16:13 Isis it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land thatflowing floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, exceptbut thou must needs make thyself altogetheralso a prince over us?
16:14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land thatflowing floweth with milk and honey, ornor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
16:16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy companycongregation before the Lord, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrowtomorrow:
16:17 Andand take ye every man his censer, and put incense inupon them, and bring ye before the Lord every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.

16:30 But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earthground open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quickalive into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provokeddespised the Lord.
16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
16:32 Andand the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houseshouseholds, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

16:38 Theeven the censers of these sinners against their own soulslives, and let them makebe themmade broadbeaten plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the Lord, therefore they are hallowedholy: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
16:39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewithwhich they that were burnt had offered; and they werebeat madethem broadout plates for a covering of the altar:

16:47 And Aaron took as Moses commandedspake, and ran into the midst of the congregationassembly; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on the incense, and made an atonement for the people.

17:3 And thou shalt write Aarons name upon the rod of Levi: for onethere rod shall be one rod for theeach head of the house of their fathers houses.
17:4 And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacletent of themeeting congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
17:5 And it shall come to pass, that the mansman rod, whom I shall choose, his rod shall blossombud: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, wherebywhich they murmur against you.
17:6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and everyall one of their princes gave him a rod apiecerods, for each prince one, according to their fathers houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

18:2 And thy brethren also, of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou near with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall ministerbe before the tabernacletent of witnessthe testimony.
18:3 And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacleTent: only they shall not come nigh unto the vessels of the sanctuary and unto the altar, that they die not, neither they, nor ye also, die.
18:4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacletent of the congregationmeeting, for all the service of the tabernacleTent: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
