3:19 Andand to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye mightmay be filled withunto all the fulness of God.
3:21 Untounto him be the glory in the church byand in Christ Jesus throughoutunto all ages,generations worldfor withoutever endand ever. Amen.
4:1 I therefore, the prisoner ofin the Lord, beseech you thatto ye walk worthyworthily of the vocationcalling wherewith ye arewere called,
4:2 Withwith all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
4:3 Endeavouringgiving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye arewere called in one hope of your calling;
4:5 Oneone Lord, one faith, one baptism,
4:6 Oneone God and Father of all, who is aboveover all, and through all, and in you all.
4:7 But unto everyeach one of us iswas giventhe grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, andAnd gave gifts unto men.
4:9 Now thatthis, heHe ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
4:11 And he gave some, to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
4:12 Forfor the perfecting of the saints, forunto the work of the ministryministering, forunto the edifyingbuilding up of the body of Christ:
4:13 Tilltill we all comeattain inunto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfectfullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
4:14 Thatthat we henceforthmay be no morelonger children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, andin cunning craftiness, wherebyafter theythe liewiles inof wait to deceiveerror;
4:15 Butbut speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things into him, which is the head, even Christ:;
4:16 Fromfrom whom all the whole body fitly joinedframed together and compactedknit bytogether through that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in thedue measure of everyeach several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the edifyingbuilding up of itself in love.
4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforthno longer walk not as otherthe Gentiles also walk, in the vanity of their mind,
4:18 Havingbeing thedarkened in their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God throughbecause of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindnesshardening of their heart:;
4:19 Whowho being past feeling havegave given themselves overup untoto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
4:20 But ye havedid not so learnedlearn Christ;
4:21 Ifif so be that ye have heard him, and havewere been taught byin him, even as the truth is in Jesus:
4:22 Thatthat ye put offaway, as concerning theyour former conversationmanner of life, the old man, which iswaxeth corrupt accordingafter to the deceitfullusts lustsof deceit;
4:23 Andand that ye be renewed in the spirit of your mind;,
4:24 Andand that ye put on the new man, which after God ishath been created in righteousness and trueholiness holinessof truth.
4:25 Wherefore, putting away lyingfalsehood, speak everyye man truth each one with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
4:27 Neitherneither give place to the devil.
4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing whichthat is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that needethhath need.
4:29 Let no corrupt communicationspeech proceed out of your mouth, but thatsuch whichas is good tofor edifying as the useneed ofmay edifyingbe, that it may ministergive grace untoto thethem hearersthat hear.
4:30 And grieve not the holyHoly Spirit of God, wherebyin whom ye arewere sealed unto the day of redemption.
4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speakingrailing, be put away from you, with all malice:
4:32 Andand be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving oneeach anotherother, even as God foralso Christsin sakeChrist hathforgave forgiven you.
5:1 Be ye therefore followersimitators of God, as dearbeloved children;
5:2 Andand walk in love, even as Christ also hath loved usyou, and hathgave given himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odour of a sweetsmellingsweet savoursmell.
5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be once named among you, as becometh saints;
5:4 Neithernor filthiness, nor foolish talking, noror jesting, which are not convenientbefitting: but rather giving of thanks.
5:5 For this ye know of a surety, that no whoremongerfornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, whowhich is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5:6 Let no man deceive you with vainempty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the childrensons of disobedience.
5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.;
5:8 For ye were sometimesonce darkness, but now are yenow light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
5:9 Forfor the fruit of the Spiritlight is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;,
5:10 Provingproving what is acceptablewell pleasing unto the Lord.;
5:11 Andand have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.;
5:12 Forfor itthe isthings awhich shameare evendone toby speakthem ofin thosesecret thingsit whichis area doneshame ofeven themto inspeak secretof.
5:13 But all things thatwhen they are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoevereverything doththat makeis made manifest is light.
5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall giveshine upon thee light.
5:15 SeeLook thentherefore thatcarefully how ye walk circumspectly, not as foolsunwise, but as wise,;
5:16 Redeemingredeeming the time, because the days are evil.
5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwisefoolish, but understandingunderstand what the will of the Lord is.
5:18 And be not drunkdrunken with wine, wherein is excess;riot, but be filled with the Spirit;
5:19 Speakingspeaking one to yourselvesanother in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody inwith your heart to the Lord;
5:20 Givinggiving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
5:21 Submittingsubjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of GodChrist.
5:22 Wives, submitbe yourselvesin subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ also is the head of the church:, andbeing hehimself is the saviour of the body.
5:24 ThereforeBut as the church is subject untoto Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in every thingeverything.
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
5:26 Thatthat he might sanctify andit, cleansehaving cleansed it withby the washing of water bywith the word,
5:27 Thatthat he might present itthe church to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
5:28 SoEven so ought menhusbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself.:
5:29 Forfor no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as theChrist Lordalso the church:;
5:30 Forbecause we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall becleave joinedto unto his wife,; and theythe twotwain shall bebecome one flesh.
5:32 This mystery is a great mystery: but I speak concerningin regard of Christ and of the church.
5:33 Nevertheless letdo everyye onealso ofseverally youlove ineach particularone sohis loveown his wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she reverencefear her husband.

6:5 Servants, be obedient tounto them that are your masters according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6:6 Notnot within the way of eyeservice, as menpleasersmen pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
6:7 Withwith good will doing service, as tounto the Lord, and not tounto men:
6:8 Knowingknowing that whatsoever good thing anyeach manone doeth, the same shall he receive ofagain from the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearingand forbear threatening: knowing that yourboth their Master alsoand yours is in heaven;, neitherand there is thereno respect of persons with him.
6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the powerstrength of his might.
6:12 For weour wrestlewrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of thethis darkness of this world, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in highthe heavenly places.
6:13 Wherefore take untoup you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.
6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins girt about with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness;,
6:15 Andand having shod your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
6:16 Abovewithal all, taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wickedevil one.
6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto within all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;,
6:19 And foron memy behalf, that utterance may be given unto me, thatin Iopening may open my mouth boldly, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,
6:20 Forfor which I am an ambassador in bonds:chains; that thereinin it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
6:21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, athe beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
6:22 Whomwhom I have sent unto you for thethis samevery purpose, that ye mightmay know our affairsstate, and that he mightmay comfort your hearts.
6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerityuncorruptness. Amen.
