31:31 If the men of my tabernacletent saidhave not Ohsaid thatWho wecan hadfind ofone histhat fleshhath wenot cannotbeen befilled satisfiedwith his meat
31:32 The strangersojourner didhath not lodgelodged in the street:; butBut I have opened my doors to the traveller;
31:33 If like Adam I have covered my transgressions asBy Adam by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
31:34 DidBecause I fearfeared athe great multitude orAnd did the contempt of families terrifyterrified me So that I kept silence and went not out of the door—
31:35 Oh that I had one wouldto hear me beholdLo here is my desiresignature islet that the Almighty would answer me andAnd that I had the indictment which mine adversary hadhath written a book
31:36 Surely I would takecarry it upon my shoulder; andI would bind it unto me as a crown to me:
31:37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; asAs a prince would I go near unto him
31:38 If my land crycrieth out against me orAnd that the furrows likewise thereof complainweep together;
31:39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money orOr have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
31:40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat andAnd cockle instead of barley The words of Job are ended
32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite of the kindredfamily of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled because he justified himself rather than God
32:4 Now Elihu had waited tillto Jobspeak hadunto spokenJob because they were elder than he
32:5 WhenAnd when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men then his wrath was kindled
32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said I am young and ye are very old; whereforeWherefore I washeld afraidback and durst not shewshow you mine opinion
32:7 I said Days should speak andAnd multitude of years should teach wisdom
32:8 But there is a spirit in man: andAnd the inspirationbreath of the Almighty giveth them understanding
32:9 GreatIt menis are not alwaysthe great that are wise: neitherNor do the aged that understand judgmentjustice
32:10 Therefore I said Hearken to me; I also will shewshow mine opinion
32:11 Behold I waited for your words; I gavelistened earfor to your reasonsreasonings whilstWhilst ye searched out what to say
32:12 Yea I attended unto you andAnd behold there was none of you that convinced Job orOr that answered his words: among you
32:13 LestBeware lest ye should say We have found out wisdom:; God thrustethmay vanquish him down not man:
32:14 NowFor he hath not directed his words against me:; neitherNeither will I answer him with your speeches
32:15 They wereare amazed they answeredanswer no more: theyThey lefthave offnot speakinga word to say
32:16 WhenAnd shall I hadwait waitedbecause for they spakespeak not butBecause stoodthey stand still and answeredanswer no more;
32:17 I saidalso I will answer also my part I also will shewshow mine opinion
32:18 For I am full of matterwords; theThe spirit within me constraineth me
32:19 Behold my bellybreast is as wine which hath no vent; Like new wine skins it is ready to burst like new bottles
32:20 I will speak that I may be refreshed:; I will open my lips and answer
32:21 Let me not I pray you acceptrespect any mans person; neitherNeither letwill meI give flattering titles unto any man
32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; inElse sowould doing my makerMaker would soon take me away
33:1 WhereforeHowbeit Job I pray thee hear my speechesspeech andAnd hearken to all my words
33:2 Behold now I have opened my mouth; myMy tongue hath spoken in my mouth
33:3 My words shall beutter of the uprightness of my heart:; andAnd that which my lips know they shall utterspeak knowledge clearlysincerely
33:4 The spiritSpirit of God hath made me andAnd the breath of the Almighty hathgiveth given me life
33:5 If thou canst answer thou me; setSet thy words in order before me stand upforth
33:6 Behold I am accordingtoward toGod thyeven wishas inthou Gods steadart: I also am formed out of the clay
33:7 Behold my terror shall not make thee afraid neitherNeither shall my handpressure be heavy upon thee
33:8 Surely thou hast spoken in minemy hearing andAnd I have heard the voice of thy words saying
33:9 I am clean without transgression; I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me:
33:10 Behold he findeth occasions against me heHe counteth me for his enemy;
33:11 He putteth my feet in the stocks heHe marketh all my paths
33:12 Behold I will answer thee in this thou art not just:; IFor will answer thee that God is greater than man
33:13 Why dost thou strive against him forFor that he giveth not account of any of his matters
33:14 For God speaketh once yeaYea twice yetthough man perceivethregardeth it not
33:15 In a dream in a vision of the night whenWhen deep sleep falleth upon men inIn slumberings upon the bed;
33:16 Then he openeth the ears of men andAnd sealeth their instruction
33:17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose andAnd hide pride from man;
33:18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit andAnd his life from perishing by the sword
33:19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed andAnd thewith multitudecontinual ofstrife in his bones with strong pain:;
33:20 So that his life abhorreth bread andAnd his soul dainty meatfood
33:21 His flesh is consumed away that it cannot be seen; andAnd his bones that were not seen stick out
33:22 Yea his soul draweth near unto the gravepit andAnd his life to the destroyers
33:23 If there be a messenger with him an angel An interpreter one among a thousand toTo shewshow unto man hiswhat uprightness:is right for him;
33:24 Then heGod is gracious unto him and saith Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom
33:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a childs:; heHe shallreturneth return to the days of his youth:
33:26 He shallprayeth pray unto God and he willis befavorable favourable unto him: andSo that he shallseeth see his face with joy: forAnd he willrestoreth render unto man his righteousness
33:27 He lookethsingeth uponbefore men and ifsaith any say I have sinned and perverted that which was right andAnd it profited me not;:

33:31 Mark well O Job hearken unto me: holdHold thy peace and I will speak
33:32 If thou hast anything to say answer me: speakSpeak for I desire to justify thee
33:33 If not hearken thou unto me: holdHold thy peace and I shallwill teach thee wisdom
34:1 FurthermoreMoreover Elihu answered and said
34:2 Hear my words O ye wise men; andAnd give ear unto me ye that have knowledge
34:3 For the ear trieth words asAs the mouthpalate tasteth meatfood
34:4 Let us choose tofor us judgmentthat which is right: letLet us know among ourselves what is good
34:5 For Job hath said I am righteous: andAnd God hath taken away my judgmentright:
34:6 ShouldNotwithstanding my right I lieam againstaccounted mya rightliar; myMy wound is incurable though I am without transgression
34:7 What man is like Job whoWho drinketh up scorningscoffing like water
34:8 WhichWho goeth in company with the workers of iniquity andAnd walketh with wicked men
34:9 For he hath said It profiteth a man nothing thatThat he should delight himself with God
34:10 Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: farFar be it from God that he should do wickedness; andAnd from the Almighty that he should commit iniquity
34:11 For the work of a man shallwill he render unto him andAnd cause every man to find according to his ways
34:12 Yea surelyof a surety God will not do wickedly neitherNeither will the Almighty pervert judgmentjustice
34:13 Who hathgave given him a charge over the earth orOr who hath disposed the whole world
34:14 If he set his heart upon manhimself ifIf he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
34:15 All flesh shall perish together andAnd man shall turn again unto dust
34:16 If now thou hast understanding hear this: hearkenHearken to the voice of my words
34:17 Shall even heone that hateth rightjustice govern andAnd wilt thou condemn him that is mostrighteous justand mighty—
34:18 IsHim itthat fitsaith to say to a king Thou art wickedvile andOr to princesnobles Ye are ungodlywicked;
34:19 HowThat muchrespecteth less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes norNor regardeth the rich more than the poor; forFor they all are the work of his hands
34:20 In a moment shall they die andeven theat peoplemidnight; shallThe bepeople troubledare atshaken midnight and pass away: andAnd the mighty shallare be taken away without hand
34:21 For his eyes are upon the ways of a man andAnd he seeth all his goings
34:22 There is no darkness nor shadowthick ofgloom deathWhere where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves
34:23 For he willneedeth not layfurther uponto manconsider morea thanman right;That that he should entergo intobefore judgmentGod within Godjudgment
34:24 He shallbreaketh break in pieces mighty men withoutin numberways andpast setfinding out And setteth others in their stead
34:25 Therefore he knowethtaketh knowledge of their works; andAnd he overturneth them in the night so that they are destroyed
34:26 He striketh them as wicked men inIn the open sight of others;
34:27 Because they turned backaside from following him andAnd would not considerhave regard in any of his ways:
34:28 So that they causecaused the cry of the poor to come unto him andAnd he hearethheard the cry of the afflicted
34:29 When he giveth quietness who then can makecondemn troubleAnd and when he hideth his face who then can behold him Alike whether it be done againstunto a nation or againstunto a man only:
34:30 That the hypocritegodless man reign not lestThat there be none to ensnare the people be ensnared
34:31 SurelyFor ithath isany meet to be said unto God I have borne chastisement I will not offend any more:
34:32 That which I see not teach thou me: ifIf I have done iniquity I will do it no more
34:33 ShouldShall ithis recompense be accordingas tothou thywilt mindthat hethou willrefusest recompense it whetherFor thou refusemust or whether thou choose; and not I: thereforeTherefore speak what thou knowest
34:34 LetMen men of understanding tellwill say unto me andYea letevery a wise man hearkenthat untoheareth me:
34:35 Job hathspeaketh spoken without knowledge andAnd his words wereare without wisdom
34:36 MyWould desire is that Job maywere be tried unto the end becauseBecause of his answersanswering forlike wicked men
34:37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin; heHe clappeth his hands among us andAnd multiplieth his words against God
35:1 Moreover Elihu spakeanswered moreover and said
35:2 Thinkest thou this to be thy right thatOr sayest thou saidst My righteousness is more than Gods
35:3 ForThat thou saidstsayest What advantage will it be unto thee andAnd What profit shall I have more than if I behad cleansed from my sinsinned

35:7 If thou be righteous what givest thou him orOr what receiveth he of thinethy hand
35:8 Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; andAnd thy righteousness may profit thea son of man
35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they makecry theout; oppressedThey to cry: theyfor cryhelp out by reason of the arm of the mighty
35:10 But none saith Where is God my makerMaker whoWho giveth songs in the night;
35:11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth andAnd maketh us wiser than the fowlsbirds of heaventhe heavens
35:12 There they cry but none giveth answer becauseBecause of the pride of evil men
35:13 Surely God will not hear vanityan neitherempty cry Neither will the Almighty regard it
35:14 AlthoughHow much less when thou sayest thou shaltbeholdest him not seeThe himcause yet judgment is before him; thereforeand trust thou inwaitest for him
35:15 But now because ithe ishath not so he hath visited in his anger; yetNeither doth he knowethgreatly itregard not in great extremity:arrogance;

36:2 Suffer me a little and I will shewshow thee; thatFor I have yet somewhat to speaksay on Gods behalf
36:3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar andAnd will ascribe righteousness to my Maker

36:8 And if they be bound in fetters andAnd be holdentaken in the cords of affliction;
36:9 Then he shewethshoweth them their work andAnd their transgressions that they have exceededbehaved themselves proudly
36:10 He openeth also their ear to disciplineinstruction andAnd commandeth that they return from iniquity
36:11 If they obeyhearken and serve him theyThey shall spend their days in prosperity andAnd their years in pleasures
