JehovahYahweh is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindnessloving kindness, forgiving iniquity and transgressiondisobedience; and thathe will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers uponon the children, uponon the third and uponon the fourth generation. |
| 14:19 |
Pardon,Please Ipardon pray thee, the iniquity of this people according untoto the greatness of thyyour lovingkindnessloving kindness, and accordingjust as thouyou hasthave forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now. |
| 14:20 |
AndYahweh Jehovah said, I have pardoned according to thyyour word:; |
| 14:21 |
but in very deed, —as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with theYahwehs glory of Jehovah;— |
| 14:22 |
because all those men thatwho have seen my glory, and my signs, which I wroughtworked in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not hearkenedlistened to my voice; |
| 14:23 |
surely they shall not see the land which I swareswore untoto their fathers, neither shall any of themthose thatwho despised me see it:. |
| 14:24 |
butBut my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hathhas followed me fully, him I will I bring into the land whereintointo which he went;. andHis hisoffspring seed shall possess it. |
| 14:25 |
NowSince the Amalekite and the Canaanite dwell in the valley:, totomorrow morrow turn ye, and getgo you into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea. |
| 14:26 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses and untoto Aaron, saying, |
| 14:27 |
How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, that murmurcomplain against me? I have heard the murmuringscomplaints of the children of Israel, which they murmurcomplain against me. |
| 14:28 |
SayTell unto them, As I live, saithsays JehovahYahweh, surely as yeyou have spoken in minemy ears, so I will I do to you:. |
| 14:29 |
yourYour dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and all thatwho were numberedcounted of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, thatwho have murmuredcomplained against me, |
| 14:30 |
surely yeyou shall not come into the land, concerning which I swareswore that I would make you dwell therein, saveexcept Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. |
| 14:31 |
But I will bring in your little ones, that yeyou said should be acaptured prey,or them will I bring inkilled, and they shall know the land which yeyou have rejected. |
| 14:33 |
AndYour your children shall be wanderers in the wilderness forty years, and shall bear your whoredomsprostitution, until your dead bodies beare consumed in the wilderness. |
| 14:34 |
After the number of the days in which yeyou spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, shallyou yewill bear your iniquities, even forty years, and yeyou shallwill know my alienation. |
| 14:35 |
I, JehovahYahweh, have spoken,. surelyI this will Isurely do untothis to all this evil congregation, thatwho are gathered together against me:. inIn this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. |
| 14:36 |
AndThe the men, whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up an evil report against the land, |
| 14:37 |
even those men thatwho didbrought bring up an evil report of the land, died by the plague before JehovahYahweh. |
| 14:38 |
But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, remained alive of those men thatwho went to spy out the land. |
| 14:39 |
And Moses told these words untoto all the children of Israel:, and the people mourned greatly. |
| 14:40 |
AndThey they rose up early in the morning, and gatwent them up to the top of the mountain, saying, LoBehold, we are here, and will go up untoto the place which JehovahYahweh hathhas promised:; for we have sinned. |
| 14:41 |
And Moses said, WhereforeWhy now do yeyou transgressdisobey the commandment of JehovahYahweh, seeingsince it shall not prosper? |
| 14:42 |
GoDont notgo up, for JehovahYahweh isisnt not among you; that yeway you wont be notstruck smitten down before your enemies. |
| 14:43 |
For there the Amalekite and the Canaanite are before you, and yeyou shallwill fall by the sword: because yeyou are turned back from following Jehovah,Yahweh; therefore JehovahYahweh will not be with you. |
| 14:44 |
But they presumed to go up to the top of the mountain:. neverthelessNevertheless, the ark of theYahwehs covenant of Jehovah, and Moses, departeddidnt notdepart out of the camp. |
| 14:45 |
Then the AmalekiteAmalekites came down, and the CanaaniteCanaanites who dweltlived in that mountain, and smotestruck them and beat them down, even untoto Hormah. |
| 15:1 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses, saying, |
| 15:2 |
Speak untoto the children of Israel, and saytell unto them, When yeyou arehave come into the land of your habitations, which I give untoto you, |
| 15:3 |
and will make an offering by fire untoto Jehovah, Yahweh—a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewillfree will offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweetpleasant savoraroma untoto JehovahYahweh, of the herd, or of the flock;— |
| 15:4 |
then shall he thatwho offerethoffers his oblationoffering shall offer untoto JehovahYahweh a meal offering of aone tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingledmixed with theone fourth part of a hin of oil:. |
| 15:5 |
andYou shall prepare wine for the drink offering, theone fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb. |
| 15:6 |
OrFor for a ram, thouyou shaltshall prepare for a meal offering two tenthtenths parts of an ephah of fine flour mingledmixed with the third part of a hin of oil:; |
| 15:7 |
and for the drink offering thouyou shaltshall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweetpleasant savoraroma untoto JehovahYahweh. |
| 15:8 |
AndWhen whenyou thouprepare preparest a bullockbull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings untoto Jehovah;Yahweh, |
| 15:9 |
then he shall he offer with the bullockbull a meal offering of three tenthtenths parts of an ephah of fine flour mingledmixed with half a hin of oil:; |
| 15:10 |
and thouyou shaltshall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweetpleasant savoraroma untoto JehovahYahweh. |
| 15:11 |
Thus it shall it be done for each bullockbull, or for each ram, or for each of the hemale lambs, or of the kidsyoung goats. |
| 15:12 |
According to the number that yeyou shall prepare, so you shall ye do to everyeveryone one according to their number. |
| 15:13 |
All thatwho are homenative born shall do these things afterin this mannerway, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweetpleasant savoraroma untoto JehovahYahweh. |
| 15:14 |
AndIf if a stranger sojournlives as a foreigner with you, or whosoeverwhoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweetpleasant savoraroma untoto Jehovah;Yahweh, as yeyou do, so he shall do. |
| 15:15 |
For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger thatwho sojournethlives withas youa foreigner, a statute forforever ever throughout your generations:. asAs yeyou are, so shall the sojournerforeigner shall be before JehovahYahweh. |
| 15:16 |
One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger thatwho sojournethlives as a foreigner with you. |
| 15:17 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses, saying, |
| 15:18 |
Speak untoto the children of Israel, and saytell unto them, When yeyou come into the land whitherwhere I bring you, |
| 15:19 |
then it shall be, that, when yeyou eat of the bread of the land, yeyou shall offer up a heavewave offering untoto JehovahYahweh. |
| 15:20 |
Of the first of your dough yeyou shall offer up a cake for a heavewave offering:. asAs the heavewave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall ye heave it. |
| 15:21 |
Of the first of your dough, yeyou shall give untoto JehovahYahweh a heavewave offering throughout your generations. |
| 15:22 |
AndWhen whenyou ye shall err, and notdont observe all these commandments, which JehovahYahweh hathhas spoken untoto Moses,— |
| 15:23 |
even all that JehovahYahweh hathhas commanded you by Moses, from the day that JehovahYahweh gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;— |
| 15:24 |
then it shall be, if it bewas done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullockbull for a burnt offering, for a sweetpleasant savoraroma untoto JehovahYahweh, with theits meal offering thereof, and theits drink offering thereof, according to the ordinance, and one hemale goat for a sin offering. |
| 15:25 |
AndThe the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their oblationoffering, an offering made by fire untoto JehovahYahweh, and their sin offering before JehovahYahweh, for their error:. |
| 15:26 |
andAll all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, andas well as the stranger thatwho sojournethlives as a foreigner among them; for inwith respectregard ofto all the people, it was done unwittingly. |
| 15:27 |
AndIf ifa one person sinsins unwittingly, then he shall offer a shefemale goat a year old for a sin offering. |
| 15:28 |
AndThe the priest shall make atonement for the soul thatwho erreth, errs when he sinnethsins unwittingly, before Jehovah,Yahweh. toHe shall make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven. |
| 15:29 |
YeYou shall have one law for him thatwho doethdoes aughtanything unwittingly, for him thatwho is homenative born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger thatwho sojournethlives as a foreigner among them. |
| 15:30 |
But the soul thatwho doethdoes aughtanything with a high hand, whether he beis homenative born or a sojournerforeigner, theblasphemes sameYahweh. blasphemethThat Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. |
| 15:31 |
Because he hathhas despised theYahwehs word of Jehovah, and hathhas broken his commandment, that soul shall be utterly be cut off;. hisHis iniquity shall be uponon him. |
| 15:32 |
AndWhile while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks uponon the sabbathSabbath day. |
| 15:33 |
AndThose theywho that found him gathering sticks brought him untoto Moses and Aaron, and untoto all the congregation. |
| 15:34 |
AndThey they put him in wardcustody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him. |
| 15:35 |
AndYahweh Jehovah said untoto Moses, The man shall surely be put to death:. allAll the congregation shall stone him with stones withoutoutside of the camp. |
| 15:36 |
AndAll all the congregation brought him withoutoutside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones;, as JehovahYahweh commanded Moses. |
| 15:37 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses, saying, |
| 15:38 |
Speak untoto the children of Israel, and bidtell them that they should make themthemselves fringes inon the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put uponon the fringe of each border a cord of blue:. |
| 15:39 |
andIt it shall be untoto you for a fringe, that yeyou may looksee upon it, and remember all theYahwehs commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that yeyou dont follow not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which yeyou useused to play the harlotprostitute; |
| 15:40 |
so that yeyou may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy untoto your God. |
| 15:41 |
I am JehovahYahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am JehovahYahweh your God. |
| 16:1 |
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took some men:. |
| 16:2 |
andThey they rose up before Moses, with certainsome of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown;. |
| 16:3 |
andThey they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said untoto them, YeYou take too much uponon youyourself, seeingsince all the congregation are holy, everyeveryone one of them, and JehovahYahweh is among them:! whereforeWhy thendo you lift yeyourselves up yourselves above theYahwehs assembly of Jehovah? |
| 16:4 |
AndWhen when Moses heard it, he fell uponon his face:. |
| 16:5 |
andHe hesaid spaketo unto Korah and untoto all his company, saying, In the morning, JehovahYahweh will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near untoto him:. evenEven him whom he shall choose, he will he cause to come near untoto him. |
| 16:6 |
ThisDo dothis: takehave you censers, Korah, and all his company; take censers, |
| 16:7 |
and put fire in them, and put incense uponon them before JehovahYahweh totomorrow. morrow:It and it shall be that the man whom JehovahYahweh doth choosechooses, he shall be holy:. yeYou takehave gone too muchfar, upon you, ye sons of Levi.! |
| 16:8 |
And Moses said untoto Korah, Hear now, yeyou sons of Levi:! |
| 16:9 |
seemethIs it but a small thing untoto you, that the God of Israel hathhas separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of theYahwehs tabernacle of Jehovah, and to stand before the congregation to minister untoto them; |
| 16:10 |
and that he hathhas brought theeyou near, and all thyyour brethrenbrothers the sons of Levi with theeyou? andDo you seek ye the priesthood also? |
| 16:11 |
Therefore thouyou and all thyyour company arehave gathered together against Jehovah:Yahweh! andWhat Aaron, what is heAaron that yeyou murmurcomplain against him? |
| 16:12 |
And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, We willwont not come up:! |
| 16:13 |
isIs it a small thing that thouyou hasthave brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, but thouyou must needsalso make thyselfyourself also a prince over us? |
| 16:14 |
Moreover thouyou hasthavent not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards:. wiltWill thouyou put out the eyes of these men? weWe willwont not come up. |
| 16:15 |
And Moses was very wrothangry, and said untoto JehovahYahweh, RespectDont notrespect thou their offering:. I have not taken one assdonkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them. |
| 16:16 |
And Moses said untoto Korah, BeYou thou and all thyyour company go before JehovahYahweh, thouyou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:tomorrow. |
| 16:17 |
andEach man take ye every man his censer, and put incense uponon themit, and each man bring ye before JehovahYahweh every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thouyou also, and Aaron, each with his censer. |
| 16:18 |
AndThey theyeach took every man his censer, and put fire in themit, and laid incense thereonon it, and stood at the door of the tentTent of meetingMeeting with Moses and Aaron. |
| 16:19 |
And Korah assembled all the congregation againstopposite them untoto the door of the tentTent of meeting:Meeting. andYahwehs the glory of Jehovah appeared untoto all the congregation. |
| 16:20 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses and untoto Aaron, saying, |
| 16:21 |
Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.! |
| 16:22 |
AndThey they fell uponon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wiltwill thouyou be wrothangry with all the congregation? |
| 16:23 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses, saying, |
| 16:24 |
Speak untoto the congregation, saying, Get youaway up from aboutaround the tabernacletent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.! |
| 16:25 |
And Moses rose up and went untoto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. |
| 16:26 |
AndHe hespoke spaketo unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray youplease, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest yeyou be consumed in all their sins.! |
| 16:27 |
So they gatwent themaway up from the tabernacletent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side:. and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents, andwith their wives, and their sons, and their little ones. |
| 16:28 |
And Moses said, Hereby yeyou shall know that JehovahYahweh hathhas sent me to do all these works; for Ithey haveare not donefrom themmy of mine own mind. |
| 16:29 |
If these men die the common death of all men, or if they beexperience visitedwhat after the visitation of all men; experience, then JehovahYahweh hathhasnt not sent me. |
| 16:30 |
But if JehovahYahweh makemakes a new thing, and the ground openopens its mouth, and swallowswallows them up, with all that appertainbelong untoto them, and they go down alive into Sheol;, then yeyou shall understand that these men have despised JehovahYahweh. |
| 16:31 |
AndAs it came to pass, as he madefinished an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them; split apart. |
| 16:32 |
andThe the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, andwith their households, and all theof Korahs men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. |

| 16:39 |
And Eleazar the priest took the brazenbronze censers, which theythose thatwho were burntburned had offered; and they beat them out for a covering of the altar, |
| 16:40 |
to be a memorial untoto the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger, thatwho isisnt not of the seedoffspring of Aaron, would come near to burn incense before Jehovah;Yahweh, that he not be not as Korah, and as his company:; as JehovahYahweh spakespoke untoto him by Moses. |

| 20:16 |
andWhen when we cried untoto JehovahYahweh, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and brought us forth out of Egypt:. andBehold, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermostedge of thyyour border. |
| 20:17 |

| 20:20 |
AndHe he said, ThouYou shaltshall not pass through. And Edom came out against him with muchmany people, and with a strong hand. |
| 20:21 |

| 20:22 |
AndThey theytraveled journeyed from Kadesh:, and the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, came untoto mountMount Hor. |

| 20:25 |
Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up untoto mountMount Hor; |
| 20:26 |
and strip Aaron of his garments, and put them uponon Eleazar his son:. and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. |

| 21:8 |
AndYahweh Jehovah said untoto Moses, Make thee a fieryvenomous serpentsnake, and set it uponon a standard:pole. andIt it shall comehappen to pass, that everyeveryone onewho that is bitten, when he seethsees it, shall live. |
| 21:9 |

| 21:12 |
From thencethere they journeyedtraveled, and encamped in the valley of Zered. |
| 21:13 |
From thencethere they journeyedtraveled, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness, that comethcomes out of the border of the Amorites:; for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. |
| 21:14 |
WhereforeTherefore it is said in theThe bookBook of the Wars of JehovahYahweh, Vaheb in Suphah, And the valleys of the Arnon, |
| 21:15 |
And the slope of the valleys Thatthat inclinethincline toward the dwelling of Ar, Andleans leanethon upon the border of Moab. |

| 21:32 |
And Moses sent to spy out Jazer;. andThey they took theits towns thereofvillages, and drove out the Amorites thatwho were there. |
| 21:33 |

| 22:6 |
ComePlease come now therefore, Iand pray thee, curse me this people for me; for they are too mighty for me:. peradventurePerhaps I shall prevail, that we may smitestrike them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I know that he whom thouyou blessestbless is blessed, and he whom thouyou cursestcurse is cursed. |
| 22:7 |
AndThe the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand;. andThey they came untoto Balaam, and spakespoke untoto him the words of Balak. |

| 22:17 |
for I will promote theeyou untoto very great honor, and whatsoeverwhatever thouyou sayestsay untoto me I will do:. Please come therefore, Iand pray thee, curse me this people for me. |
| 22:18 |
And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannotcant go beyond the word of JehovahYahweh my God, to do less or more. |
| 22:19 |
Now therefore, Iplease praystay you, here tarrytonight yeas also here this nightwell, that I may know what Jehovahelse Yahweh will speak untoto me more. |
| 22:20 |
And God came untoto Balaam at night, and said untoto him, If the men arehave come to call theeyou, rise up, go with them; but only the word which I speak untoto theeyou, that shaltyou thoushall do. |

| 22:24 |
Then theYahwehs angel of Jehovah stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side. |
| 22:25 |

| 22:29 |
And Balaam said untoto the assdonkey, Because thouyou hasthave mocked me:, I wouldwish there were a sword in my hand, for now I hadwould have killed theeyou. |
| 22:30 |
AndThe thedonkey ass said untoto Balaam, Am I not Iyour thine assdonkey, uponon which thouyou hasthave ridden all thyyour life long untountil this daytoday? wasWas I ever wontin tothe dohabit of doing so untoto theeyou? andHe he said, NayNo. |

| 22:33 |
andThe thedonkey ass saw me, and turned asideaway before me these three times:. unlessUnless she had turned asideaway from me, surely now I hadwould evenhave slainkilled theeyou, and saved her alive. |

| 23:8 |

| 23:9 |
For from the top of the rocks I see him,. AndFrom from the hills I beholdsee him:. LoBehold, it is a people that dwellethdwells alone, Andand shall not be reckonedlisted among the nations. |

And Moses spakespoke untoto the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which JehovahYahweh hathhas commanded. |
| 30:2 |
When a man vowethvows a vow untoto JehovahYahweh, or swearethswears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word;. heHe shall do according to all that proceedethproceeds out of his mouth. |
| 30:3 |
Also, when a woman vowethvows a vow untoto Jehovah,Yahweh and bindethbinds herself by a bondpledge, being in her fathers house, in her youth, |
| 30:4 |
and her father hearethhears her vow, and her bondpledge wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul, and her father holdethsays hisnothing peaceto at her;, then all her vows shall stand, and every bondpledge wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul shall stand. |
| 30:5 |
But if her father disallowforbids her in the day that he hearethhears, none of her vows, or of her bondspledges wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul, shall stand:. andYahweh Jehovah will forgive her, because her father disallowedhas forbidden her. |
| 30:6 |
AndIf if she behas married to a husband, while her vows are uponon her, or the rash utterance of her lips, wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul, |
| 30:7 |
and her husband hearhears it, and holdsays hisnothing peaceto at her in the day that he hearethhears it; then her vows shall stand, and her bondspledges wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul shall stand. |
| 30:8 |
But if her husband disallowforbids her in the day that he hearethhears it, then he shallmakes make void her vow which is uponon her, and the rash utterance of her lips, wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul:. andYahweh Jehovah will forgive her. |
| 30:9 |
But the vow of a widow, or of her thatwho is divorced, even everything wherewithwith which she hathhas bound her soul, shall stand against her. |
| 30:10 |
AndIf if she vowed in her husbands house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath, |
| 30:11 |
and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disalloweddidnt disallow her, not; then all her vows shall stand, and every bondpledge wherewithwith which she bound her soul shall stand. |
| 30:12 |
But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatsoeverwhatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand:. herHer husband hathhas made them void;. andYahweh Jehovah will forgive her. |
| 30:14 |
But if her husband altogethersays holdnothing histo peace at her from day to day, then he establishethestablishes all her vows, or all her bonds, pledges which are uponon her:. heHe hathhas established them, because he heldsaid hisnothing peaceto at her in the day that he heard them. |
| 30:15 |
But if he shallmakes make them null and void after that he hathhas heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity. |
| 30:16 |

| 31:3 |
And Moses spakespoke untoto the people, saying, Arm ye men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midian, to execute JehovahsYahwehs vengeance on Midian. |
| 31:4 |
OfYou everyshall tribesend aone thousand out of every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war. |
| 31:5 |
So there were delivered, out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand offrom every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. |
| 31:6 |
And Moses sent them, aone thousand of every tribe, to the war, themwith and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand. |

| 31:15 |
And Moses said untoto them, Have yeyou saved all the women alive? |
| 31:16 |
Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against JehovahYahweh in the matter of Peor, and so the plague was among the congregation of JehovahYahweh. |
| 31:17 |
Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman thatwho hathhas known man by lying with him. |
| 31:18 |
But all the women childrengirls, thatwho have not known man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. |
| 31:19 |

| 31:24 |
AndYou ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and yeyou shall be clean;. andAfterward afterwardyou ye shall come into the camp. |
| 31:25 |
AndYahweh Jehovahspoke spaketo unto Moses, saying, |
| 31:26 |
TakeCount the sumplunder of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beastanimal, thouyou, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers houseshouseholds of the congregation; |
| 31:27 |
and divide the preyplunder into two parts: between the men skilled in war, thatwho went out to battle, and all the congregation. |
| 31:28 |
AndLevy levy a tribute untoto JehovahYahweh of the men of war thatwho went out to battle: one soul of five hundred,; both of the persons, and of the oxencattle, and of the assesdonkeys, and of the flocks:. |
| 31:29 |
takeTake it offrom their half, and give it untoto Eleazar the priest, for JehovahsYahwehs heavewave offering. |
| 31:30 |
AndOf of the children of Israels half, thouyou shaltshall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the oxencattle, of the assesdonkeys, and of the flocks, even of all the cattlelivestock, and give them untoto the Levites, thatwho keepperform the chargeduty of theYahwehs tabernacle of Jehovah. |
| 31:31 |

andseventy threescoretwo andthousand twelvehead thousandof oxencattle, |
| 31:34 |
andsixty threescore and one thousand assesdonkeys, |
| 31:35 |
and thirty and two thousand persons in all, of the women thatwho had not known man by lying with him. |
| 31:36 |
AndThe the half, which was the portion of themthose thatwho went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep:; |
| 31:37 |
and JehovahsYahwehs tribute of the sheep was six hundred andseventy threescore and fifteenfive. |
| 31:38 |
AndThe thecattle oxen were thirty and six thousand;, of which JehovahsYahwehs tribute was threescoreseventy and twelvetwo. |
| 31:39 |
AndThe thedonkeys asses were thirty thousand and five hundred;, of which JehovahsYahwehs tribute was threescoresixty and one. |
| 31:40 |
AndThe the persons were sixteen thousand;, of whom JehovahsYahwehs tribute was thirty and two persons. |
| 31:41 |
And Moses gave the tribute, which was JehovahsYahwehs heavewave offering, untoto Eleazar the priest, as JehovahYahweh commanded Moses. |
| 31:42 |
AndOf of the children of Israels half, which Moses divided off from the men thatwho warredfought |
| 31:43 |
now the congregations half was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand, seven thousand and five hundred sheep, |
| 31:44 |
and thirty and six thousand oxenhead of cattle, |
| 31:45 |
and thirty thousand and five hundred assesdonkeys, |
| 31:47 |
even of the children of Israels half, Moses took one drawn out of every fifty, both of man and of beastanimal, and gave them untoto the Levites, thatwho keptperformed the chargeduty of theYahwehs tabernacle, of Jehovah; as JehovahYahweh commanded Moses. |
| 31:48 |
AndThe the officers thatwho were over the thousands of the hostarmy, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near untoto Moses;. |
| 31:49 |
andThey they said untoto Moses, ThyYour servants have taken the sum of the men of war thatwho are under our chargecommand, and there lackethlacks not one man of us. |
| 31:50 |
AndWe we have brought JehovahsYahwehs oblationoffering, what every man hathfound: gotten, gold of jewels of goldornaments, ankle chainsarmlets, and bracelets, signet rings, ear ringsearrings, and armletsnecklaces, to make atonement for our souls before JehovahYahweh. |
| 31:51 |
And Moses and Eleazar the priest took thetheir gold of them, even all wroughtworked jewels. |
| 31:52 |
AndAll all the gold of the heavewave offering that they offered up to JehovahYahweh, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels. |
| 31:53 |
ForThe the men of war had taken booty, every man for himself. |
| 31:54 |
And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tentTent of meeting,Meeting for a memorial for the children of Israel before JehovahYahweh. |
| 32:1 |
Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle:livestock. andThey when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead,. thatBehold, behold, the place was a place for cattle;livestock. |
| 32:2 |
Then the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spakespoke untoto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and untoto the princes of the congregation, saying, |
| 32:3 |
Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Sebam, and Nebo, and Beon, |
| 32:4 |
the land which JehovahYahweh smotestruck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattlelivestock; and thyyour servants have cattlelivestock. |
| 32:5 |
AndThey they said, If we have found favor in thyyour sight, let this land be given untoto thyyour servants for a possession;. Dont bring us not over the Jordan. |
| 32:6 |
And Moses said untoto the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethrenbrothers go to the war, andwhile shallyou ye sit here? |
| 32:7 |
AndWhy whereforedo you discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which JehovahYahweh hathhas given them? |
| 32:8 |
ThusYour fathers did yourso fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh barneaBarnea to see the land. |
| 32:9 |
For when they went up untoto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which JehovahYahweh had given them. |
| 32:10 |
AndYahwehs Jehovahs anger wasburned kindled in that day, and he swareswore, saying, |
| 32:11 |
Surely none of the men thatwho came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swareswore untoto Abraham, untoto Isaac, and untoto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:, |
| 32:12 |
saveexcept Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun;, because they have wholly followed JehovahYahweh completely. |

| 32:15 |
For if yeyou turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and yeyou will destroy all thisthese people. |
| 32:16 |
AndThey they came near untoto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattlelivestock, and cities for our little ones:; |

but we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel, until we have brought them untoto their place:. andOur our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land. |
| 32:18 |
We will not return untoto our houses, until the children of Israel have inheritedall everyreceived mantheir his inheritance. |
| 32:19 |
For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan, and forward;beyond, because our inheritance ishas fallencome to us on this side of the Jordan eastward. |
| 32:20 |
And Moses said untoto them,: If yeyou will do this thing, if yeyou will arm yourselves to go before JehovahYahweh to the war, |
| 32:21 |
and every armedone man of youyour armed men will pass over the Jordan before Jehovah,Yahweh until he hathhas driven out his enemies from before him, |
| 32:22 |
and the land is subdued before JehovahYahweh; then afterward yeyou shall return, and be guiltlessclear towardsof Jehovah, obligation to Yahweh and towardsto Israel;. andThen this land shall be untoyour you for a possession before JehovahYahweh. |
| 32:23 |
But if yeyou will not do so, behold, yeyou have sinned against JehovahYahweh; and be sure your sin will find you out. |
| 32:24 |
Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hathhas proceeded out of your mouth. |
| 32:25 |
AndThe the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spakespoke untoto Moses, saying, ThyYour servants will do as my Lord commandethcommands. |
| 32:26 |
Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, livestock shall be there in the cities of Gilead; |
| 32:27 |
but thyyour servants will pass over, every man thatwho is armed for war, before JehovahYahweh to battle, as my Lord saithsays. |
| 32:28 |
So Moses gavecommanded charge concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers houseshouseholds of the tribes of the children of Israel. |
| 32:29 |
And Moses said untoto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man thatwho is armed to battle, before JehovahYahweh, and the land shallis be subdued before you;, then yeyou shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:; |
