9:4 For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, thouyou hasthave broken as in the day of Midian.
9:5 For all the armor of the armed man in the tumultnoisy battle, and the garments rolled in blood, shallwill be for burning, fuel for fuelthe of fire.
9:6 For unto us a child is born, untoto us. aA son is given to us; and the government shallwill be uponon his shoulder:shoulders. andHis his name shallwill be called Wonderful, CounsellorCounselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, uponon theDavids throne of David, and uponon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforththat time on, even for everforever. 9:9 AndAll all the people shallwill know, evenincluding Ephraim and the inhabitantinhabitants of Samaria, thatwho say in pride and in stoutnessarrogance of heart,
9:10 The bricks arehave fallen, but we will build with hewncut stone;. theThe sycomoressycamore arefig trees have been cut down, but we will put cedars in their place.
9:11 Therefore JehovahYahweh will set up on high against him the adversaries of Rezin, and will stir up his enemies,
9:12 theThe Syrians beforein front, and the Philistines behind; and they shallwill devour Israel with open mouth. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
9:13 Yet the people have not turned untoto him thatwho smotestruck them, neither have they sought JehovahYahweh of hostsArmies.
9:14 Therefore JehovahYahweh will cut off from Israel head and tail, palm branch and rushreed, in one day.
9:15 The elder and the honorable man, he is the head;, and the prophet thatwho teachethteaches lies, he is the tail.
9:16 For theythose thatwho lead this people causelead them to errastray; and theythose thatwho are led ofby them are destroyed.
9:17 Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyeveryone one is profane and an evil doerevildoer, and every mouth speakethspeaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
9:18 For wickedness burnethburns aslike thea fire;. itIt devourethdevours the briers and thorns; yeayes, it kindlethkindles in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.
9:19 Through theYahweh wrath of JehovahArmies ofwrath, hosts is the land burntis burned up; and the people are as the fuel offor the fire:. noNo manone sparethspares his brother.

10:11 shall I not, as I have done untoto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
10:12 WhereforeTherefore it shallwill comehappen to pass, that, when the Lord hathhas performed his whole work uponon mountMount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stoutwillful proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the gloryinsolence of his higharrogant looks.

27:13 AndIt itwill shallhappen come to pass in that day, that a great trumpet shallwill be blown; and theythose shallwho come that were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and theythose thatwho were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they shallwill worship JehovahYahweh in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
28:1 Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fatfertile valley of themthose thatwho are overcome with wine!
28:2 Behold, the Lord hathhas aone who is mighty and strong. one;Like as a tempeststorm of hail, a destroying storm, asand like a tempeststorm of mighty waters overflowing, he will he cast them down to the earth with thehis hand.
28:3 The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim shallwill be trodden under foot:.
28:4 andThe the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fatfertile valley, shall be aslike the first ripe fig before the summer;, which whensomeone hepicks thatand looketheats uponas itsoon seeth,as while it is yet in his hand he eatethsees it up.
28:5 In that day, willYahweh Jehovah of hostsArmies will become a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, untoto the residue of his people;,
28:6 and a spirit of justice to him thatwho sittethsits in judgment, and strength to themthose thatwho turn back the battle at the gate.
28:7 AndThey evenalso these reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink;. theThe priest and the prophet reel with strong drink,. theyThey are swallowed up ofby wine,. theyThey stagger with strong drink;. theyThey err in vision,. theyThey stumble in judgment.
28:8 For all tables are completely full of filthy vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
28:9 Whom will he teach knowledge? andTo whom will he makeexplain to understand the message? themThose thatwho are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?
28:10 For it is precept uponon precept, precept uponon precept; line uponon line, line uponon line; here a little, there a little.
28:11 Nay,But buthe bywill menspeak ofto strangethis lipsnation and with anotherstammering tonguelips willand hein speakanother to this people;language,
28:12 to whom he said, This is the rest,resting giveplace. yeGive rest to himthe that is weary;, and thisThis is the refreshing:; yet they would not hear.
28:13 Therefore shallYahwehs the word ofwill Jehovah be untoto them precept uponon precept, precept uponon precept; line uponon line, line uponon line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, andbe snared, and be taken.
28:14 WhereforeTherefore hear theYahwehs word of Jehovah, yeyou scoffers, that rule this people that is in Jerusalem:
28:15 Because yeyou have said, We have made a covenant with death, and withwe Sheol are wein at agreement; whenwith Sheol. When the overflowing scourge shallpasses pass through, it shallwont not come untoto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and underwe falsehood have wehidden hidourselves ourselves:under falsehood.
28:16 thereforeTherefore thus saith the Lord JehovahYahweh says, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornercornerstone stone of a sure foundation:. heHe thatwho believethbelieves shall not beact in hastehastily.
28:17 And I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet;plumb andline. theThe hail shallwill sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shallwill overflow the hiding place.
28:18 AndYour your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand;. whenWhen the overflowing scourge shallpasses pass through, then yeyou shallwill be troddentrampled down by it.
28:19 As often as it passethpasses through, it shallwill takeseize you; for morning by morning shall it will pass through, by day and by night:; and it shallwill be noughtnothing but terror to understand the message.
28:20 For the bed is shortertoo thanshort thatto a man can stretch himselfout on, it; and the coveringblanket narroweris thantoo thatnarrow heto can wrap himselfoneself in it.
28:21 For JehovahYahweh will rise up as inon mountMount Perazim,. heHe will be wrothangry as in the valley of Gibeon; that he may do his work, his strangeunusual work, and bring to pass his act, his strangeextraordinary act.
28:22 Now therefore dont be ye not scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction have I heard from the Lord, JehovahYahweh of hostsArmies, uponon the whole earth.
28:23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice;! hearkenListen, and hear my speech.!
28:24 DothDoes he thatwho plowethplows to sow plow continually? dothDoes he continuallykeep openturning the soil and harrowbreaking histhe groundclods?
28:25 When he hathhas levelledleveled theits face thereofsurface, dothdoesnt he notplant cast abroad the fitchesdill, and scatter the cummincumin seed, and put in the wheat in rows, and the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in theits border thereofplace?
28:26 For his God dothinstructs instruct him aright,in right judgment and dothteaches teach him.
28:27 For the fitchesdill areisnt not threshed with a sharp threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned aboutover upon the cummincumin; but the fitchesdill areis beaten out with a staffstick, and the cummincumin with a rod.
28:28 Bread grainflour ismust be ground; forso he will not always be always threshing it:. andAlthough thoughhe drives the wheel of his threshing cart andover his horses scatter it, hehis dothhorses notdont grind it.
28:29 This also comethcomes forthout from JehovahYahweh of hostsArmies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
29:1 HoWoe to Ariel,! Ariel, the city where David encamped! addAdd ye year to year; let the feasts come round:around;
29:2 then I will I distress Ariel, and there shallwill be mourning and lamentation;. andShe she shall be untoto me as Arielan altar hearth.
29:3 And I will encamp against theeyou roundall aboutaround you, and will lay siege against theeyou with posted troops,. and I will raise siege works against theeyou.
29:4 AndYou thouwill shalt be brought down, and shaltwill speak out of the ground,. andYour thy speech shallwill bemumble low out of the dust;. andYour thy voice shallwill be as of one thatwho hathhas a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thyyour speech shallwill whisper out of the dust.
29:5 But the multitude of thyyour foes shallwill be like smallfine dust, and the multitude of the terribleruthless ones aslike chaff that passethblows away:. yeaYes, it shallwill be in an instant, suddenly.
29:6 She shallwill be visited ofby JehovahYahweh of hostsArmies with thunder, and with earthquake, andwith great noise, with whirlwind and tempeststorm, and with the flame of a devouring fire.
29:7 AndThe the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all thatwho fight against her and her stronghold, and thatwho distress her, shallwill be aslike a dream, a vision of the night.
29:8 AndIt itwill shall be aslike when a hungry man dreamethdreams, and, behold, he eatetheats; but he awakethawakes, and his soulhunger isisnt empty:satisfied; or aslike when a thirsty man dreamethdreams, and, behold, he drinkethdrinks; but he awakethawakes, and, behold, he is faint, and hishe soulis hathstill appetite:thirsty. soThe shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mountMount Zion will be like that.
29:9 TarryPause ye and wonder;! takeBlind youryourselves pleasure and be blind:! theyThey are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
29:10 For JehovahYahweh hathhas poured out uponon you thea spirit of deep sleep, and hathhas closed your eyes, the prophets; and he has covered your heads, the seers, hath he covered.
29:11 AndAll all vision ishas become untoto you aslike the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one thatwho is learnededucated, saying, Read this, I pray theeplease; and he saithsays, I cannotcant, for it is sealed:;
29:12 and the book is delivered to himone thatwho is not learnededucated, saying, Read this, I pray theeplease; and he saithsays, I amcant not learnedread.
29:13 AndThe the Lord said, ForasmuchBecause as this people drawdraws nighnear unto me, and with their mouth and honors me with their lips do honor me, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which hathhas been taught them;
29:14 therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellousmarvelous work among this people, even a marvellousmarvelous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shallwill perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shallwill be hidhidden.
29:15 Woe untoto themthose thatwho deeply hide deep their counsel from JehovahYahweh, and whose worksdeeds are in the dark, and thatwho say, Who seethsees us? and whoWho knowethknows us?
29:16 YeYou turn things upside down! ShallShould the potter be esteemedthought asto be like clay;, that the thing made should say ofabout him thatwho made it, He madedidnt make me not; or the thing formed say of him thatwho formed it, He hathhas no understanding?
29:17 IsIsnt it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shallwill be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shallwill be esteemedregarded as a forest?
29:18 AndIn in that day, shall the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shallwill see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
29:19 The meekhumble also shallwill increase their joy in JehovahYahweh, and the poor among men shallwill rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
29:20 For the terribleruthless one is brought to noughtnothing, and the scoffer ceasethceases, and all theythose thatwho watchare foralert iniquityto do evil are cut off;—
29:21 thatwho makecause a manperson anto offenderbe inindicted hisby causea word, and lay a snare for himone thatwho reprovethreproves in the gate, and turnwho asidedeprive the justinnocent withof ajustice thingwith offalse noughttestimony.
29:22 Therefore thus saith JehovahYahweh, who redeemed Abraham, says concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall notno nowlonger be ashamed, neither shall his face nowgrow wax pale.
29:23 But when he seethsees his children, the work of my hands, in the midstmiddle of him, they shallwill sanctify my name;. yeaYes, they shallwill sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shallwill stand in awe of the God of Israel.
29:24 They also thatwho err in spirit shallwill come to understanding, and theythose thatwho murmurgrumble shallwill receive instruction.
30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saithsays JehovahYahweh, thatwho take counsel, but not offrom me; and thatwho make aan leaguealliance, but not ofwith my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin,;
30:2 thatwho set out to go down into Egypt, andwithout haveasking notfor asked at my mouth;advice, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to take refuge in the shadow of Egypt!
30:3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh will be your shame, and the refuge in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
30:4 For their princes are at Zoan, and their ambassadors arehave come to Hanes.
30:5 They shall all be ashamed because of a people that cannotcant profit them, that are not a help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
30:6 The burden of the beastsanimals of the South. Through the land of trouble and anguish, fromof whence come the lioness and the lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they carry their riches uponon the shoulders of young assesdonkeys, and their treasures uponon the humps of camels, to aan unprofitable people that shall not profit them.
30:7 For Egypt helpethhelps in vain, and to no purpose:; therefore I have I called her Rahab thatwho sittethsits still.
30:8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forforever ever and ever.
30:9 For it is a rebellious people, lying children, children thatwho will not hear theYahwehs law of Jehovah;
30:10 thatwho saytell to the seers, SeeDont not;see! and to the prophets, ProphesyDont notprophesy untoto us right things,. speakTell unto us smoothpleasant things,. prophesyProphesy deceits,.
30:11 getGet you out of the way,. turnTurn asideaway outfrom of the path,. causeCause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
30:12 WhereforeTherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel says, Because yeyou despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely thereon;on it,
30:13 therefore this iniquity shall be to you aslike a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comethcomes suddenly in an instant.
30:14 AndHe hewill shall break it as a potters vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing;, so that there shallwont not be found among the broken pieces thereof a sherdpiece wherewithgood enough to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern.
30:15 For thus said the Lord JehovahYahweh, the Holy One of Israel, InYou will be saved in returning and rest. shallYour yestrength will be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. AndYou ye would not:refused,
30:16 but yeyou said, No, for we will flee uponon horses; therefore shallyou yewill flee:; and, We will ride uponon the swift; therefore shallthose theywho that pursue you will be swift.
30:17 One thousand shallwill flee at the threat of one;. atAt the threat of five, shallyou yewill flee: tilluntil yeyou beare left aslike a beacon uponon the top of a mountain, and aslike ana ensignbanner on a hill.
30:18 AndTherefore thereforeYahweh will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious untoto you; and therefore he will he be exalted, that he may have mercy uponon you:, for JehovahYahweh is a God of justice;. blessedBlessed are all theythose thatwho wait for him.
30:19 For the people shallwill dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;. thouYou shaltwill weep no more;. heHe will surely be gracious untoto theeyou at the voice of thyyour cry;. whenWhen he shallhears hearyou, he will answer theeyou.
30:20 AndThough though the Lord may give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet shallyour notteachers thywont teachers be hidden anymoreany more, but thineyour eyes shallwill see thyyour teachers;
30:21 and thinewhen earsyou shallturn hearto athe wordright behind theehand, saying,and Thiswhen isyou turn to the wayleft, walkyour yeears inwill it;hear whena yevoice turnbehind toyou, the right handsaying, andThis whenis yethe turnway. toWalk thein leftit.
30:22 AndYou ye shall defile the overlaying of thyyour gravenengraved images of silver, and the plating of thyyour molten images of gold:. thouYou shaltshall cast them away as an unclean thing;. thouYou shaltshall saytell unto it, GetGo thee hence.away!
30:23 AndHe he will give the rain for thyyour seed, wherewithwith thouwhich shaltyou will sow the ground; and bread of the increase of the ground, andwill it shall be fatrich and plenteousplentiful. In that day, shallyour thylivestock cattlewill feed in large pastures;.
30:24 theThe oxen likewise and the young assesdonkeys that till the ground shallwill eat savory provenderfeed, which hathhas been winnowed with the shovel and with the fork.
30:25 AndThere therewill shall be uponbrooks and streams of water on every lofty mountain, and uponon every high hill, brooks and streams of waters, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
30:26 Moreover the light of the moon shallwill be aslike the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shallwill be sevenfoldseven times brighter, aslike the light of seven days, in the day that JehovahYahweh bindethbinds up the hurtfracture of his people, and healethheals the strokewound ofthey theirwere woundstruck with.
30:27 Behold, theYahwehs name ofcomes Jehovah cometh from far away, burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke:. hisHis lips are full of indignation,. andHis his tongue is as a devouring fire;.
30:28 andHis his breath is as an overflowing stream, that reachethreaches even untoto the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction:. andA a bridle that causethleads to errruin shallwill be in the jaws of the peoples.
30:29 YeYou shallwill have a song, as in the night when a holy feast is kept;, and gladness of heart, as when one goethgoes with a pipeflute to come untoto theYahwehs mountain of Jehovah, to theIsraels Rock of Israel.
30:30 AndYahweh Jehovah will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the lightingdescent down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, and tempeststorm, and hailstones.
30:31 For through theYahwehs voice of Jehovah shall the Assyrian will be dismayed;. withHe hiswill rodstrike willhim hewith smitehis himrod.
30:32 AndEvery every stroke of the appointedrod staffof punishment, which JehovahYahweh shallwill lay uponon him, shallwill be with the sound of tabretstambourines and harps;. andHe inwill battlesfight with thethem brandishingin ofbattles, hisbrandishing arm will he fight with themweapons.

31:1 Woe to themthose thatwho go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they dont look notto unto the Holy One of Israel, neitherand they dont seek JehovahYahweh!
31:2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evildisaster, and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evil doersevildoers, and against the help of themthose thatwho work iniquity.
31:3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit:. andWhen whenYahweh Jehovahstretches shall stretch out his hand, both he thatwho helpethhelps shall stumble, and he thatwho is helped shall fall, and they all shall be consumed together.
31:4 For thusYahweh saithsays Jehovahto unto me, As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds beis called forthtogether against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for thetheir noise, of them: so willYahweh Jehovah of hostsArmies will come down to fight uponon mountMount Zion, and uponon theits hill thereofheights.

36:6 Behold, thouyou trustesttrust uponin the staff of this bruised reed, even uponin Egypt, whereonwhich if a man leanleans on it, it will go into his hand, and pierce it:. soSo is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all thatwho trust onin him.
36:7 But if thouyou saytell unto me, We trust in JehovahYahweh our God:, isisnt not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hathhas taken away, and hathhas said to Judah and to Jerusalem, YeYou shall worship before this altar?
36:8 Now therefore, Iplease praymake thee,a givepledge pledges to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give theeyou two thousand horses, if thouyou beare able on thyyour part to set riders uponon them.
36:9 How then canstcan thouyou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my masters servants, and put thyyour trust onin Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
36:10 AndHave am I now come up now without JehovahYahweh against this land to destroy it? JehovahYahweh said untoto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

36:13 Then Rabshakeh stood, and criedcalled out with a loud voice in the Jews language, and said, Hear ye the words of the great king, the king of Assyria.!
36:14 ThusThe saithking the kingsays, LetDont notlet Hezekiah deceive you; for he will not be able to deliver you:.
36:15 neitherDont let Hezekiah make you trust in JehovahYahweh, saying, JehovahYahweh will surely deliver us;. thisThis city shallwont not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
36:16 HearkenDont notlisten to Hezekiah:, for thus saith the king of Assyria says, Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and eateach yeof everyyou oneeat offrom his vine, and everyeach one offrom his fig tree, and drinkeach yeone everyof oneyou drink the waters of his own cistern;
36:18 Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, JehovahYahweh will deliver us. HathHave any of the gods of the nations delivered histheir landlands outfrom of the hand of the king of Assyria?
36:19 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? whereWhere are the gods of Sepharvaim? andHave have they delivered Samaria outfrom of my hand?
36:20 Who are they among all the gods of these countries, that have delivered their country out of my hand, that JehovahYahweh should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?
36:21 But they heldremained their peacesilent, and answeredsaid himnothing notin areply, word; for the kings commandment was, saying,Dont Answeranswer him not.
36:22 Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, thatwho was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes renttorn, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
37:1 AndWhen itKing came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he renttore his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into theYahwehs house of Jehovah.
37:2 AndHe he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, untoto Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.
37:3 AndThey they said untoto him, ThusHezekiah saith Hezekiahsays, ThisToday day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of contumelyrejection; for the children arehave come to the birth, and there is notno strength to bringgive forthbirth.
37:4 It may be JehovahYahweh thyyour God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hathhas sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which JehovahYahweh thyyour God hathhas heard:. whereforeTherefore lift up thyyour prayer for the remnant that is left.
37:5 So the servants of kingKing Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
37:6 And Isaiah said untoto them, ThusTell shall ye say to your master, ThusYahweh saith Jehovahsays, BeDont notbe afraid of the words that thouyou hasthave heard, wherewithwith which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
37:7 Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he shallwill hear tidingsnews, and shallwill return untoto his own land;. and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
37:8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah;, for he had heard that he washad departed from Lachish.
37:9 AndHe he heard saynews concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He ishas come out to fight against theeyou. AndWhen when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

37:15 And Hezekiah prayed untoto JehovahYahweh, saying,
37:16 OYahweh Jehovah of hostsArmies, the God of Israel, thatwho sittestis aboveenthroned among the cherubim, thouyou artare the God, even thouyou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth;. thouYou hasthave made heaven and earth.
37:17 InclineTurn thineyour ear, O JehovahYahweh, and hear;. openOpen thineyour eyes, O JehovahYahweh, and see;behold. andHear hear all of the words of Sennacherib, who hathhas sent to defy the living God.

37:19 and have cast their gods into the fire:; for they were no gods, but the work of mens hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them.
37:20 Now therefore, OYahweh Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thouyou artare JehovahYahweh, even thouyou only.
37:21 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent untoto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith JehovahYahweh, the God of Israel says, WhereasBecause thouyou hasthave prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria,

37:23 Whom hasthave thouyou defied and blasphemed? andAgainst against whom hasthave thouyou exalted thyyour voice and lifted up thineyour eyes on high? evenAgainst against the Holy One of Israel.
37:24 By thyyour servants, hastyou thouhave defied the Lord, and hasthave said, With the multitude of my chariots am I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon;. and I will cut down theits tall cedars thereof, and theits choice fircypress trees. thereof; and I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field;.
37:25 I have diggeddug and drunk water, and with the sole of my feet I will I dry up all the rivers of Egypt.
37:26 HastHave thouyou not heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it ofin ancient times? nowNow I have I brought it to pass, that it should be thineyours to laydestroy waste fortified cities, turning them into ruinous heaps.

57:14 AndHe he will say, CastBuild ye up, castbuild ye up, prepare the way,! takeRemove up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.
57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One thatwho inhabitethinhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also thatwho is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
57:16 For I will not contend for everforever, neither will I always be always wrothangry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls thatwhom I have made.
57:17 ForI was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smotestruck him;. I hid mymyself face and was wrothangry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
57:18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him:. I will lead him also, and restore comforts untoto him and to his mourners.
57:19 I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him thatwho is far off and to him thatwho is near, saithsays JehovahYahweh; and I will heal himthem.

58:4 Behold, yeyou fast for strife and contention, and to smitestrike with the fist of wickedness:. yeYou dont fast nottoday this day so as to make your voice to be heard on high.
58:5 Is suchthis the fast that I have chosen? theA day for a man to afflicthumble his soul? Is it to bow down his head aslike a rushreed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under himhimself? wiltWill thouyou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to JehovahYahweh?
58:6 IsIsnt not this the fast that I have chosen: to looserelease the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bandsstraps of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that yeyou break every yoke?
58:7 IsIsnt it not to dealdistribute thyyour bread to the hungry, and that thouyou bring the poor thatwho are cast out to thyyour house? whenWhen thouyou seestsee the naked, that thouyou cover him; and that thouyou not hide notyourself thyself from thineyour own flesh?
58:8 Then shallyour thy light will break forthout as the morning, and thyyour healing shallwill springappear forth speedilyquickly; andthen thyyour righteousness shall go before thee;you, theand Yahwehs glory ofwill Jehovahbe shallyour berear thy rearwardguard.
58:9 Then shaltyou thouwill call, and JehovahYahweh will answer;. thouYou shaltwill cry for help, and he will say, Here I am. If thouyou take away from theamong midstyou of thee the yoke, thefinger putting forth of the fingerpointing, and speaking wickedly;
58:10 and if thouyou drawpour out thyyour soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul:, then shallyour thy light will rise in darkness, and thineyour obscurity will be as the noonday;
58:11 and JehovahYahweh will guide theeyou continually, and satisfy thyyour soul in dry places, and make strongyour thy bones; andstrong. thouYou shaltwill be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters dont fail not.
58:12 AndThose theywho thatwill shall be of theeyou shallwill build the old waste places;. thouYou shaltwill raise up the foundations of many generations;. andYou thouwill shalt be called TheRepairer repairer of the breachBreach, TheRestorer restorer of pathsPaths towith dwell inDwellings.

63:3 I have trodden the winepresswine press alone;. andOf of the peoples, thereno one was no man with me:. yeaYes, I trod them in minemy anger, and trampled them in my wrath;. andTheir their lifeblood is sprinkled uponon my garments, and I have stained all my raimentclothing.
63:4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed ishas come.
63:5 And I looked, and there was noneno one to help; and I wondered that there was noneno one to uphold:. thereforeTherefore minemy own arm brought salvation untoto me;. andMy myown wrath, it upheld me.

63:10 But they rebelled, and grieved his holyHoly Spirit:. thereforeTherefore he was turned toand bebecame their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
63:11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, Where is he thatwho brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? whereWhere is he thatwho put his holyHoly Spirit inamong the midst of them?
63:12 thatWho caused his glorious arm to gobe at theMoses right hand of Moses? thatWho divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
63:13 thatWho led them through the depths, aslike a horse in the wilderness, so that they stumbleddidnt notstumble?
63:14 As the cattlelivestock that go down into the valley, theYahwehs Spirit of Jehovah caused them to rest:. soSo didstyou thouled leadyour thy people, to make thyselfyourself a glorious name.
63:15 Look down from heaven, and beholdsee from the habitation of thyyour holiness and of thyyour glory:. whereWhere are thyyour zeal and thyyour mighty acts? theThe yearning of thyyour heart and thyyour compassionscompassion areis restrained toward me.
63:16 For thouyou artare our Father, though Abraham knowethdoesnt know us not, and Israel dothdoes not acknowledge us:. thouYou, O JehovahYahweh, artare our Father;. ourOur Redeemer from everlasting is thyyour name.
63:17 O JehovahYahweh, why dostdo thouyou make us towander err from thyyour ways, and hardenestharden our heart from thyyour fear? Return for thyyour servants sake, the tribes of thineyour inheritance.
63:18 ThyYour holy people possessed it but a little while:. ourOur adversaries have trodden down thyyour sanctuary.
63:19 We arehave become aslike theythose over whom thouyou never barest ruleruled, aslike theythose thatwho were not called by thyyour name.
64:1 Oh that thouyou wouldestwould rendtear the heavens, that thouyou wouldestwould come down, that the mountains might quake at thyyour presence,—
64:2 as when fire kindlethkindles the brushwood, and the fire causethcauses the waterswater to boil;. toMake makeyour thy name known to thineyour adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thyyour presence!
64:3 When thouyou didstdid terribleawesome things which we lookeddidnt notlook for, thouyou camestcame down, and the mountains quaked at thyyour presence.
64:4 For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neithernor hathhas the eye seen a God besides theeyou, who workethworks for him thatwho waitethwaits for him.
64:5 ThouYou meetestmeet him thatwho rejoicethrejoices and workethdoes righteousness, those thatwho remember theeyou in thyyour ways:. beholdBehold, thouyou wastwere wrothangry, and we sinned:. inWe them have we been ofin sin for a long time;. andShall shall we be saved?
64:6 For we arehave all become aslike one thatwho is unclean, and all our righteousnessesrighteousness areis aslike a polluted garment:. andWe we all do fade aslike a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
64:7 AndThere there is noneno thatone callethwho uponcalls thyon your name, thatwho stirrethstirs himself up himself to take hold of theeyou; for thouyou hasthave hidhidden thyyour face from us, and hasthave consumed us by means of our iniquities.
64:8 But now, O JehovahYahweh, thouyou artare our Father;. weWe are the clay, and thouyou our potter;. andWe we all are the work of thyyour hand.
64:9 BeDont notbe wroth very sorefurious, OYahweh. Jehovah,Dont neither remember iniquity forforever. ever:Look behold,and looksee, we beseechbeg theeyou, we are all thyyour people.
64:10 ThyYour holy cities arehave become a wilderness,. Zion ishas become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
64:11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee,you is burned with fire;. andAll all our pleasant places are laid waste.
64:12 WiltWill thouyou refrainhold thyselfyourself back for these things, O JehovahYahweh? wiltWill thouyou holdkeep thysilent peace, and afflictpunish us very soreseverely?
65:1 I am inquired of by themthose thatwho askeddidnt notask. for me; I am found ofby themthose thatwho soughtdidnt seek me. not: I said, BeholdSee me, beholdsee me, untoto a nation that was not called by my name.
65:2 I have spread out my hands all the day untoto a rebellious people, thatwho walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
65:3 a people thatwho provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense uponon bricks;
65:4 thatwho sit among the graves, and lodgespend nights in the secret places; thatwho eat swinespigs fleshmeat, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
65:5 thatwho say, StandStay by thyselfyourself, dont come not near to me, for I am holier than thouyou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burnethburns all the day.
65:6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompenserepay, yeayes, I will recompenserepay into their bosom,
65:7 your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saithsays JehovahYahweh, thatwho have burned incense uponon the mountains, and blasphemed me uponon the hills:. thereforeTherefore I will I first measure their work into their bosom.
65:8 ThusYahweh saith Jehovahsays, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saithsays, DestroyDont destroy it not, for a blessing is in it: so I will I do for my servants sake, that I may not destroy them all.
65:9 And I will bring forthoffspring a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains;. andMy my chosen shallwill inherit it, and my servants shallwill dwell there.
65:10 And Sharon shallwill be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people thatwho have sought me.
65:11 But yeyou thatwho forsake JehovahYahweh, thatwho forget my holy mountain, thatwho prepare a table for Fortune, and thatwho fill up mingledmixed wine untoto Destiny;
65:12 I will destine you to the sword, and yeyou shallwill all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, yeyou diddidnt not answer;. whenWhen I spakespoke, yeyou diddidnt not hearlisten; but yeyou did that which was evil in minemy eyes, and chose that whereinin which I delighteddidnt notdelight.
65:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord JehovahYahweh says, Behold, my servants shallwill eat, but yeyou shallwill be hungry; behold, my servants shallwill drink, but yeyou shallwill be thirsty;. beholdBehold, my servants shallwill rejoice, but yeyou shallwill be put to shame;disappointed.
65:14 beholdBehold, my servants shallwill sing for joy of heart, but yeyou shallwill cry for sorrow of heart, and shallwill wail for vexationanguish of spirit.
65:15 AndYou yewill shall leave your name for a curse untoto my chosen;, and the Lord JehovahYahweh will slaykill thee;you. andHe he will call his servants by another name:,
65:16 so that he who blessethblesses himself in the earth shallwill bless himself in the God of truth; and he thatwho swearethswears in the earth shallwill swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidhidden from minemy eyes.
65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shallwill not be remembered, nor come into mind.
65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice forforever ever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem to be a rejoicingdelight, and her people a joy.
65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joydelight in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying will be heard in her no more.
65:20 ThereNo shallmore bewill nothere morebe thence an infant ofwho only lives a few days, nor an old man thatwho hathhas not filled his days; for the child shallwill die aone hundred years old, and the sinner being aone hundred years old shallwill be accursed.
65:21 AndThey theywill shall build houses, and inhabit them;. andThey theywill shall plant vineyards, and eat thetheir fruit of them.
65:22 They shallwill not build, and another inhabit;. theyThey shallwill not plant, and another eat:; for as the days of amy treepeople shallwill be like the days of mya peopletree, and my chosen shallwill long enjoy the work of their hands.
65:23 They shallwill not labor in vain, nor bringgive forthbirth for calamity; for they are the seedoffspring of theYahwehs blessed of Jehovah, and their offspringdescendants with them.
65:24 AndIt itwill shallhappen come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
65:25 The wolf and the lamb shallwill feed together,. andThe the lion shallwill eat straw like the ox;. andDust dustwill shall be the serpents food. They shallwill not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saithsays JehovahYahweh.
