7:15 GetGo theeto unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo,as he goethis going out untoto the water;, and thoustation shaltyourself standto bymeet him on the riversbank brinkof tothe meet himNile; and theyou rodshall whichtake wasin turnedyour tohand athe serpentstaff shaltthat thouwas taketurned ininto thya handserpent.
7:16 And thouyou shaltwill say untoto him, JehovahThe Lord, the God of the Hebrews, hath sent me untoto theeyou, saying, Let myMy people go, that they may serve meMe in the wilderness:. and,But behold, hithertoyou thouhave hast not hearkenedlistened until now.
7:17 Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, InBy this thouyou shaltshall know that I am Jehovahthe Lord: behold, I will smitestrike with the rodwater that is in mythe handNile uponwith the watersstaff whichthat areis in themy riverhand, and theyit shall be turned to blood.
7:18 And the fish that are in the riverNile shallwill die, and the riverNile shallwill become foul; and the Egyptians shallwill loathefind todifficulty drinkin drinking water from the riverNile.
7:19 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Say untoto Aaron, Take thyyour rod, staff and stretch out thyyour hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their pondsreservoirs of water, that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.
7:20 AndSo Moses and Aaron did so,even as Jehovahthe Lord had commanded;. andAnd he lifted up the rod, staff and smotestruck the waterswater that werewas in the riverNile, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants;, and all the waterswater that werewas in the riverNile werewas turned to blood.
7:21 And the fish that were in the riverNile died;, and the riverNile became foul, andso that the Egyptians could not drink water from the river;Nile. andAnd the blood was throughoutthrough all the land of Egypt.
7:22 AndBut the magicians of Egypt did inthe likesame manner with their enchantments:secret arts; and Pharaohs heart was hardened, and he hearkeneddid not untolisten to them;, as Jehovahthe Lord had spokensaid.
7:23 AndThen Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neitherwith didno heconcern lay even for this to heart.
7:24 AndSo all the Egyptians diggeddug roundaround about the riverNile for water to drink;, for they could not drink of the water of the riverNile.
7:25 And seven days werepassed fulfilled, after thatthe JehovahLord had smittenstruck the riverNile.
8:1 AndThen Jehovahthe spakeLord untosaid to Moses, Go into unto Pharaoh, and say untoto him, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, Let myMy people go, that they may serve meMe.
8:2 AndBut if thouyou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite allyour thywhole bordersterritory with frogs:.
8:3 andAnd the riverNile shallwill swarm with frogs, which shallwill gocome up and comego into thyyour house, and into thyyour bedchamber, bedroom and uponon thyyour bed, and into the househouses of thyyour servants, and uponon thyyour people, and into thineyour ovens, and into thyyour kneading troughs:bowls.
8:4 andSo the frogs shallwill come up bothon uponyou thee, and uponyour thy people, and upon all thyyour servants.
8:5 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Say untoto Aaron, Stretch forthout thyyour hand with thyyour rodstaff over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and causemake frogs to come up uponon the land of Egypt.
8:6 AndSo Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt;, and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
8:7 And the magicians did inthe likesame manner with their enchantmentssecret arts, andmaking broughtfrogs come up frogson upon the land of Egypt.
8:8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat Jehovah, the Lord that heHe takeremove away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice untoto Jehovahthe Lord.
8:9 And Moses said untoto Pharaoh, HaveThe thouhonor thisis gloryyours overto tell me: againstwhen what time shall I entreat for thee, you and foryour thy servants, and foryour thy people, that the frogs be destroyed from theeyou and thyyour houses, andthat remainthey may be left only in the river onlyNile?
8:10 AndThen he said, Against to morrowTomorrow. AndSo he said, BeMay it be according to thyyour word;, that thouyou mayestmay know that there is noneno one like untothe JehovahLord our God.
8:11 And the frogs shallwill depart from thee, you and fromyour thy houses, and fromyour thy servants, and fromyour thy people; they shallwill remainbe left only in the river onlyNile.
8:12 AndThen Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh:, and Moses cried untoto Jehovahthe Lord concerning the frogs which heHe had broughtinflicted upon Pharaoh.
8:13 And Jehovahthe Lord did according to the word of Moses;, and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.
8:14 AndSo they gatheredpiled them together in heaps;, and the land stankbecame foul.
8:15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was respiterelief, he hardened his heart, and hearkeneddid not untolisten to them;, as Jehovahthe Lord had spokensaid.
8:16 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Say untoto Aaron, Stretch out thyyour rod, staff and smitestrike the dust of the earth, that it may become licegnats throughoutthrough all the land of Egypt.
8:17 And they did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his rodstaff, and smotestruck the dust of the earth, and there were licegnats uponon man, and upon beast;. allAll the dust of the earth became licegnats throughoutthrough all the land of Egypt.
8:18 And the magicians didtried so with their enchantmentssecret arts to bring forth licegnats, but they could not:; andso there were licegnats uponon man, and upon beast.
8:19 Then the magicians said untoto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God:. andBut Pharaohs heart was hardened, and he hearkeneddid not untolisten to them;, as Jehovahthe Lord had spokensaid.
8:20 AndNow Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and standpresent yourself before Pharaoh; lo, as he comethcomes forthout to the water;, and say untoto him, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, Let myMy people go, that they may serve meMe.
8:21 Else,For if thouyou wiltwill not let myMy people go, behold, I will send swarms of fliesinsects uponon thee, you and uponon thyyour servants, and uponon thyyour people, and into thyyour houses:; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of fliesinsects, and also the ground whereonon which they aredwell.
8:22 AndBut on that day I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, inwhere whichMy my people dwellare living, so that no swarms of fliesinsects shallwill be there;, toin theorder endthat thouyou mayestmay know that I, the Lord, am Jehovah in the midst of the earthland.
8:23 And I will put a division between myMy people and thyyour people:. byTomorrow tothis morrowsign shall this sign beoccur.
8:24 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord did so;. andAnd there came grievousgreat swarms of fliesinsects into the house of Pharaoh, and intothe houses of his servants houses: and in all the land was laid waste because of Egypt the landswarms wasof corruptedinsects byin reasonall of the swarmsland of fliesEgypt.
8:25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God inwithin the land.
8:26 AndBut Moses said, It is not meetright so to do; so, for we shall sacrifice to the abominationLord ofour theGod Egyptianswhat tois Jehovahan ourabomination God:to lo,the shallEgyptians. If we sacrifice thewhat is an abomination ofto the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not then stone us?
8:27 We willmust go a three days journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovahthe Lord our God, as heHe shallcommands command us.
8:28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that yeyou may sacrifice to Jehovahthe Lord your God in the wilderness; only yeyou shall not go very far away:. entreatMake supplication for me.
8:29 AndThen Moses said, Behold, I goam going out from theeyou, and I willshall entreatmake Jehovahsupplication to the Lord that the swarms of fliesinsects may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, totomorrow; morrow: only letdo not let Pharaoh deal deceitfully anyagain more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Jehovahthe Lord.
8:30 AndSo Moses went out from Pharaoh, and entreatedmade Jehovahsupplication to the Lord.
8:31 And Jehovahthe Lord did accordingas toMoses theasked, word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of fliesinsects from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one remained.
8:32 AndBut Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and he did not let the people go.
9:1 Then Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Go into unto Pharaoh, and tellspeak to him, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, the God of the Hebrews, Let myMy people go, that they may serve meMe.
9:2 For if thouyou refuse to let them go, and wiltcontinue to hold them still,
9:3 behold, the hand of Jehovahthe isLord uponwill thycome cattlewith a very severe pestilence on your livestock which are in the field, uponon the horses, uponon the assesdonkeys, uponon the camels, uponon the herds, and uponon the flocks: there shall be a very grievous murrain.
9:4 AndBut Jehovahthe shallLord will make a distinction between the cattlelivestock of Israel and the cattlelivestock of Egypt;, andso therethat shall nothing will die of all that belongethbelongs to the childrensons of Israel.
9:5 And Jehovahthe appointedLord set a setdefinite time, saying, ToTomorrow morrowthe JehovahLord shallwill do this thing in the land.
9:6 AndSo Jehovahthe Lord did thatthis thing on the morrow;, and all the cattlelivestock of Egypt died; but of the cattlelivestock of the childrensons of Israel, died not one died.
9:7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not soeven much as one of the cattlelivestock of theIsrael Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubbornhardened, and he did not let the people go.
9:8 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses and unto Aaron, Take tofor youyourselves handfuls of ashessoot offrom thea furnacekiln, and let Moses sprinklethrow it toward heaventhe sky in the sight of Pharaoh.
9:9 And it shallwill become smallfine dust over all the land of Egypt, and shallwill bebecome aboils boil breaking forthout with blainssores uponon man and upon beast, throughoutthrough all the land of Egypt.
9:10 AndSo they took ashessoot offrom thea furnacekiln, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkledthrew it up toward heaven;the sky, and it became aboils boil breaking forthout with blainssores uponon man and upon beast.
9:11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils;, for the boils were uponon the magicians, andas uponwell as on all the Egyptians.
9:12 And Jehovahthe Lord hardened thePharaohs heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkeneddid not untolisten to them;, just as Jehovahthe Lord had spoken untoto Moses.
9:13 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say untoto him, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, the God of the Hebrews, Let myMy people go, that they may serve meMe.
9:14 For this time I will this time send all myMy plagues uponon thyyou heart, and uponyour thy servants, and uponyour thy people;, so that thouyou mayestmay know that there is noneno one like meMe in all the earth.
9:15 For if by now I had put forth myMy hand, and smittenstruck theeyou and thyyour people with pestilence, andyou thouwould hadstthen have been cut off from the earth:.
9:16 butBut, inindeed, very deed for this cause I have Iallowed madeyou thee to standremain, in order to show theeyou myMy power, and thatin myorder nameto mayproclaim beMy declaredname throughoutthrough all the earth.
9:17 AsStill yetyou exaltestexalt thouyourself thyself against myMy people, thatby thou wilt not letletting them go?.
9:18 Behold, to morrow about this time tomorrow, I will causesend it to rain a very grievousheavy hail, such as hathhas not been seen in Egypt sincefrom the day it was founded even until now.
9:19 Now therefore send, hastenbring inyour thylivestock cattle and allwhatever thatyou thouhave hast in the field; forto everysafety. Every man and beast that shallis be found in the field, and shallis not be brought home, when the hail shallcomes come down uponon them, andwill they shall die.
9:20 HeThe thatone fearedamong the wordservants of JehovahPharaoh amongwho feared the servantsword of Pharaohthe Lord made his servants and his cattlelivestock flee into the houses:;
9:21 andbut he thatwho regardedpaid notno regard to the word of Jehovahthe Lord left his servants and his cattlelivestock in the field.
9:22 AndNow Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Stretch forthout thyyour hand toward heaventhe sky, that therehail may befall hailon in all the land of Egypt, uponon man, and uponon beast, and uponon every herbplant of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
9:23 And Moses stretched forthout his rodstaff toward heaven:the sky, and Jehovahthe Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down untoto the earth;. andAnd Jehovahthe Lord rained hail uponon the land of Egypt.
9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingledflashing withcontinually in the midst of the hail, very grievoussevere, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
9:25 And the hail smotestruck throughout all that was in the landfield ofthrough Egypt all thatthe wasland inof the fieldEgypt, both man and beast; and the hail smotealso struck every herbplant of the field, and brakeshattered every tree of the field.
9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the childrensons of Israel were, there was there no hail.
9:27 AndThen Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said untoto them, I have sinned this time:; Jehovahthe Lord is the righteous one, and I and my people are the wicked ones.
9:28 EntreatMake Jehovah;supplication to the Lord, for there hathhas been enough of theseGods mightythunder thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and yeyou shall stay no longer.
9:29 And Moses said untoto him, As soon as I amgo gone out of the city, I will spread abroadout my hands untoto Jehovahthe Lord; the thundersthunder shallwill cease, neitherand shall there will be anyhail moreno hail;longer, that thouyou mayestmay know that the earth is Jehovahsthe Lords.
9:30 But as for theeyou and thyyour servants, I know that yeyou willdo not yet fear Jehovahthe Lord God.
9:31 AndNow the flax and the barley were smitten:ruined, for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bloombud.
9:32 But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten:ruined, for they wereripen not grown uplate.
9:33 AndSo Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroadout his hands untoto Jehovah:the Lord; and the thundersthunder and the hail ceased, and the rain wasno notlonger poured uponon the earth.
9:34 AndBut when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thundersthunder werehad ceased, he sinned yetagain more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
9:35 And thePharaohs heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the childrensons of Israel go;, just as Jehovahthe Lord had spoken bythrough Moses.
10:1 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Go into unto Pharaoh:, for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I may showperform these my signs inof theMine midstamong of them,
10:2 and that thouyou mayestmay tell in the earshearing of thyyour son, and of thyyour sons songrandson, whathow things I havemade wroughta uponmockery Egyptof the Egyptians, and myhow signsI whichperformed IMy havesigns done among them; that yeyou may know that I am Jehovahthe Lord.
10:3 And Moses and Aaron went into unto Pharaoh, and said untoto him, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, the God of the Hebrews, How long wiltwill thouyou refuse to humble thyselfyourself before meMe? letLet myMy people go, that they may serve meMe.
10:4 Else,For if thouyou refuse to let myMy people go, behold, totomorrow morrowI will I bring locusts into thyyour border:territory.
10:5 andAnd they shall cover the facesurface of the earthland, so that no one shall not be able to see the earth:land. andThey they shall also eat the residuerest of thatwhat whichhas is escaped, whichwhat remainethis untoleft to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which growethsprouts for you out of the field:.
10:6 andThen thyyour houses shall be filled, and the houses of all thyyour servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians;, assomething which neither thyyour fathers nor thyyour fathersgrandfathers fathers have seen, sincefrom the day that they werecame upon the earth untountil this day. And he turned, and went out from Pharaoh.
10:7 And Pharaohs servants said untoto him, How long shallwill this man be a snare untoto us? letLet the men go, that they may serve Jehovahthe Lord their God:. knowestDo thouyou not yetrealize that Egypt is destroyed?
10:8 AndSo Moses and Aaron were brought againback untoto Pharaoh:, and he said untoto them, Go, serve Jehovahthe Lord your God;! butWho who are theythe ones that shallare gogoing?
10:9 And Moses said, We willshall go with our young and with our old; with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds we will we go;, for we must hold a feast untoto Jehovahthe Lord.
10:10 AndThen he said untoto them, SoThus may the Lord be Jehovah with you, asif ever I will let you go, and your little ones: lookgo! toTake it;heed, for evil is beforein youyour mind.
10:11 Not so:! goGo now, yethe thatmen areamong menyou, and serve Jehovah;the Lord, for that is what yeyou desire. AndSo they were driven out from Pharaohs presence.
10:12 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Stretch out thyyour hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up uponon the land of Egypt, and eat every herbplant of the land, even all that the hail hathhas left.
10:13 AndSo Moses stretched forthout his rodstaff over the land of Egypt, and Jehovahthe broughtLord directed an east wind uponon the land all that day, and all thethat night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
10:14 And the locusts wentcame up over all the land of Egypt, and restedsettled in all the bordersterritory of Egypt; verythey grievous were they;very beforenumerous. themThere therehad werenever nobeen suchso many locusts, asnor they, would neitherthere afterbe themso shallmany be suchagain.
10:15 For they covered the facesurface of the whole earthland, so that the land was darkened; and they didate eat every herbplant of the land, and all the fruit of the trees whichthat the hail had left:. andThus therenothing remainedgreen notwas anyleft greenon thing, either tree or herbplant of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
10:16 Then Pharaoh hurriedly called for Moses and Aaron, in haste; and he said, I have sinned against Jehovahthe Lord your God, and against you.
10:17 Now therefore forgive, Iplease prayforgive thee, my sin only this once, and entreatmake Jehovahsupplication to the Lord your God, that heHe maywould takeonly awayremove from me this death onlyfrom me.
10:18 And he went out from Pharaoh, and entreatedmade Jehovahsupplication to the Lord.
10:19 AndSo Jehovahthe turnedLord anshifted exceedingthe wind to a very strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust was left in all the borderterritory of Egypt.
10:20 But Jehovahthe Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he did not let the childrensons of Israel go.
10:21 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Stretch out thyyour hand toward heaventhe sky, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even a darkness which may be felt.
10:22 AndSo Moses stretched forthout his hand toward heaven;the sky, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days;.
10:23 theyThey sawdid not see one another, neithernor rosedid anyanyone onerise from his place for three days:, but all the childrensons of Israel had light in their dwellings.
10:24 AndThen Pharaoh called untoto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve Jehovahthe Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed:detained. letEven your little ones alsomay go with you.
10:25 AndBut Moses said, ThouYou must also givelet intous ourhave hand sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice untothem Jehovahto the Lord our God.
10:26 OurTherefore, cattleour alsolivestock, shalltoo, will go with us; there shall not a hoof will be left behind;, for thereofwe mustshall we take some of them to serve Jehovahthe Lord our God;. andAnd until we knowarrive there, we ourselves do not know with what we mustshall serve Jehovah, the until we come thitherLord.
10:27 But Jehovahthe Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he wouldwas not willing to let them go.
10:28 AndThen Pharaoh said untoto him, Get theeaway from me! Beware, takedo heednot to thyself, see my face noagain, more; for in the day thouyou seestsee my face thouyou shaltshall die.!
10:29 And Moses said, ThouYou hastare spoken wellright; I willshall never see thyyour face again no more.!
11:1 AndNow Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, YetOne onemore plague moreI will I bring uponon Pharaoh, and uponon Egypt; afterwardsafter that he will let you go hence:from whenhere. When he shalllets let you go, he shallwill surely thrustdrive you out hencefrom altogetherhere completely.
11:2 Speak now in the earshearing of the people, andthat leteach themman ask everyfrom man of his neighbor, and everyeach woman offrom her neighbor, jewelsfor articles of silver, and jewelsarticles of gold.
11:3 And Jehovahthe Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. MoreoverFurthermore, the man Moses himself was verygreatly greatesteemed in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaohs servants, and in the sight of the people.
11:4 And Moses said, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, About midnight will I goam going out into the midst of Egypt:,
11:5 and all the first born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of the Pharaoh thatwho sittethsits uponon his throne, even untoto the first born of the maidslave servantgirl thatwho is behind the millmillstones; and all the first born of the cattle as well.
11:6 AndMoreover, there shall be a great cry throughoutin all the land of Egypt, such as there hathhas not been, norbefore and such as shall never be any moreagain.
11:7 But against any of the childrensons of Israel shall not a dog moveshall hisnot tongueeven bark, whether against man or beast:, that yeyou may knowunderstand how thatthe JehovahLord dothmakes make a distinction between theEgypt Egyptians and Israel.
11:8 And all these thyyour servants shallwill come down untoto me, and bow down themselves untobefore me, saying, GetGo thee out, you and all the people thatwho follow thee:you, and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.
11:9 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearkenlisten untoto you;, so that myMy wonders maywill be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
11:10 And Moses and Aaron didperformed all these wonders before Pharaoh:; andyet Jehovahthe Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he did not let the childrensons of Israel go out of his land.
12:1 AndNow Jehovahthe spakeLord untosaid to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

12:32 Take both your flocks and your herds, as yeyou have said, and bego, gone; and bless me also.
12:33 And the Egyptians wereurged urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste;, for they said, We areshall all be dead men.
12:34 AndSo the people took their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading troughsbowls being bound up in theirthe clothes uponon their shoulders.
12:35 AndNow the childrensons of Israel didhad done according to the word of Moses;, andfor they askedhad ofrequested from the Egyptians jewelsarticles of silver, and jewelsarticles of gold, and raiment:clothing;
12:36 and Jehovahthe gaveLord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have whattheir they askedrequest. AndThus they despoiledplundered the Egyptians.
12:37 AndNow the childrensons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, thataside werefrom men, besides children.
12:38 And a mixed multitude also went up also with them;, andalong with flocks, and herds, evena very muchlarge cattlenumber of livestock.
12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought forth out of Egypt; forinto cakes of unleavened bread. For it washad not become leavened, becausesince they were thrustdriven out of Egypt, and could not tarrydelay, neithernor had they prepared any provisions for themselves any victuals.
12:40 Now the time that the childrensons of Israel dweltlived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
12:41 And it came toabout pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, evento the selfsamevery day it came to pass, that all the hosts of Jehovahthe Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

12:49 OneThe same law shall beapply to himthe thatnative isas hometo born, and unto the stranger thatwho sojournethsojourns among you.
12:50 ThusThen did all the childrensons of Israel did so; they did just as Jehovahthe Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
12:51 And it came toabout passon thethat selfsamesame day, that Jehovahthe didLord bringbrought the childrensons of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
13:1 AndThen Jehovahthe spakeLord untospoke to Moses, saying,
13:2 Sanctify untoto meMe allevery the first born, whatsoeverthe openethfirst theoffspring of every womb among the childrensons of Israel, both of man and of beast:; it isbelongs mineto Me.
13:3 And Moses said untoto the people, Remember this day, in which yeyou camewent out from Egypt, outfrom of the house of bondageslavery; for by strengtha ofpowerful hand Jehovahthe Lord brought you out from this place:. thereAnd shallnothing no leavened breadshall be eaten.

13:8 And thouyou shaltshall tell thyyour son inon that day, saying, It is because of thatwhat whichthe JehovahLord did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.
13:9 And it shall beserve foras a sign untoto theeyou uponon thyyour hand, and foras a memorialreminder betweenon thineyour eyesforehead, that the law of Jehovahthe Lord may be in thyyour mouth:; for with a strongpowerful hand haththe JehovahLord brought theeyou out of Egypt.
13:10 ThouTherefore, shaltyou thereforeshall keep this ordinance inat its seasonappointed time from year to year.
13:11 AndNow it shall be,come about when Jehovahthe shallLord bringbrings theeyou intoto the land of the Canaanite, as heHe swareswore untoto theeyou and to thyyour fathers, and shallgives give it theeto you,

13:13 AndBut every firstlingfirst offspring of ana assdonkey thouyou shaltshall redeem with a lamb;, andbut if thouyou wiltdo not redeem it, then thouyou shaltshall break its neck:; and allevery the first born of man among thyyour sons shaltyou thoushall redeem.
13:14 And it shall be, when thyyour son askethasks theeyou in time to come, saying, What is this? thatthen thouyou shaltshall say untoto him, ByWith strengtha ofpowerful hand Jehovahthe Lord brought us out fromof Egypt, from the house of bondage:slavery.
13:15 andAnd it came to passabout, when Pharaoh wouldwas hardlystubborn letabout letting us go, that Jehovahthe slewLord allkilled theevery firstfirstborn born in the land of Egypt, both the first born of man, and the first born of beast:. thereforeTherefore, I sacrifice to Jehovahthe allLord thatthe openethmales, the first offspring of every womb, being males; but allevery the first born of my sons I redeem.
13:16 AndSo it shall beserve foras a sign uponon thyyour hand, and foras frontletsphylacteries betweenon thineyour eyes:forehead, for bywith strengtha ofpowerful hand Jehovahthe Lord brought us forth out of Egypt.
13:17 AndNow it came toabout pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God leddid not lead them not by the way of the land of the Philistines, althougheven thatthough it was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repentchange their minds when they see war, and they return to Egypt:.
13:18 butHence God led the people about, around by the way of the wilderness byto the Red Sea:; and the childrensons of Israel went up armedin outmartial ofarray from the land of Egypt.
13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him:, for he had straitlymade sworn the childrensons of Israel solemnly swear, saying, God willshall surely visittake care of you; and yeyou shall carry up my bones awayfrom hencehere with you.
13:20 AndThen they tookset theirout journey from Succoth, and encampedcamped in Etham, inon the edge of the wilderness.
13:21 And Jehovahthe wentLord was going before them by day in a pillar of cloud, by day to lead them on the way, and by night in a pillar of fire, by night to give them light;, that they might gotravel by day and by night:.
13:22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day, andnor the pillar of fire by night, departed not from before the people.
14:1 AndNow Jehovahthe spakeLord untospoke to Moses, saying,
14:2 SpeakTell unto the childrensons of Israel, thatto they turn back and encampcamp before Pi hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea,; beforeyou Baalshall zephon:camp overin againstfront itof shallBaal yezephon, encampopposite it, by the sea.
14:3 AndFor Pharaoh will say of the childrensons of Israel, They are entangledwandering aimlessly in the land,; the wilderness hathhas shut them in.
14:4 AndThus I will harden Pharaohs heart, and he shallwill followchase after them; and I will getbe mehonored honorthrough upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host;army, and the Egyptians shallwill know that I am Jehovahthe Lord. And they did so.
14:5 AndWhen it was told the king of Egypt was told that the people werehad fled:, Pharaoh and thehis heartservants ofhad Pharaoha andchange of hisheart servantstoward was changed towards the people, and they said, What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
14:6 AndSo he made ready his chariot, ready and took his people with him:;
14:7 and he took six hundred chosenselect chariots, and all the other chariots of Egypt, andwith captainsofficers over all of them.
14:8 And Jehovahthe Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he pursuedchased after the childrensons of Israel: foras the childrensons of Israel wentwere going out with a high handboldly.
14:9 AndThen the Egyptians pursuedchased after them, with all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and they overtook them encampingcamping by the sea, beside Pi hahiroth, beforein front of Baal zephon.
14:10 And whenas Pharaoh drew nighnear, the childrensons of Israel lifted up their eyeslooked, and, behold, the Egyptians were marching after them;, and they werebecame sorevery afraid:frightened; andso the childrensons of Israel cried out untoto Jehovahthe Lord.
14:11 AndThen they said untoto Moses, BecauseIs it because there were no graves in Egypt, hastthat thouyou have taken us away to die in the wilderness? whereforeWhy hasthave thouyou dealt thus with us in this way, tobringing bring us forth out of Egypt?
14:12 Is this not this the word that we spakespoke untoto theeyou in Egypt, saying, LetLeave us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians ? For it werewould have been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than thatto we should die in the wilderness.
14:13 AndBut Moses said untoto the people, FearDo ye not, standfear! still,Stand by and see the salvation of Jehovah, the Lord which heHe will workaccomplish for you totoday; day: for the Egyptians whom yeyou have seen to daytoday, yeyou shallwill never see them again no more for everforever.
14:14 JehovahThe Lord will fight for you, andwhile yeyou shallkeep hold your peacesilent.
14:15 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, WhereforeWhy criestare thouyou untocrying meout to Me? speakTell unto the childrensons of Israel, thatto they go forward.
14:16 And as for you, lift thou up thyyour rod, staff and stretch out thyyour hand over the sea, and divide it:, and the childrensons of Israel shall go intothrough the midst of the sea on dry groundland.
14:17 And Ias for Me, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, andso that they shallwill go in after them:; and I will getbe mehonored honorthrough upon Pharaoh, and upon all his hostarmy, uponthrough his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
14:18 AndThen the Egyptians shallwill know that I am Jehovahthe Lord, when I haveam gottenhonored methrough honor upon Pharaoh, uponthrough his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
14:19 And the angel of God, who wenthad been going before the camp of Israel, removedmoved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud removedmoved from before them, and stood behind them:.
14:20 andSo it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud andalong with the darkness, yet it gave it light byat night:. andThus the one camedid not come near the other all the night.
14:21 AndThen Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Jehovahthe causedLord swept the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and madeturned the sea into dry land, andso the waters were divided.
14:22 And the childrensons of Israel went intothrough the midst of the sea uponon the dry ground:land, and the waters were like a wall untoto them on their right hand, and on their left.
14:23 AndThen the Egyptians pursuedtook up the pursuit, and all Pharaohs horses, his chariots and his horsemen went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaohs horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
14:24 And it came toabout passat in the morning watch, that Jehovahthe Lord looked forthdown uponon the hostarmy of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of cloud, and discomfitedbrought the hostarmy of the Egyptians into confusion.
14:25 And heHe tookcaused off their chariot wheels to swerve, and theyHe drovemade them heavilydrive with difficulty; so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from theIsrael, facefor ofthe Israel;Lord foris Jehovahfighting fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
14:26 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Stretch out thyyour hand over the sea, so that the waters may come againback uponover the Egyptians, uponover their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
14:27 AndSo Moses stretched forthout his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strengthnormal whenstate theat morningdaybreak, appeared;while and the Egyptians fledwere againstfleeing right into it; andthen Jehovahthe Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
14:28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, even allPharaohs theentire hostarmy of Pharaoh that wenthad ingone after them into the sea; thereafter remainedthem; not soeven much as one of them remained.
14:29 But the childrensons of Israel walked uponon dry land inthrough the midst of the sea;, and the waters were like a wall untoto them on their right hand, and on their left.
14:30 Thus Jehovahthe Lord saved Israel that day outfrom of the hand of the Egyptians;, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead uponon the sea shoreseashore.
14:31 And when Israel saw the great workpower which Jehovahthe didLord uponhad used against the Egyptians, and the people feared Jehovah:the Lord, and they believed in Jehovah, the Lord and in hisHis servant Moses.
15:1 Then sang Moses and the childrensons of Israel sang this song untoto Jehovahthe Lord, and spakesaid, saying, I will sing untoto Jehovahthe Lord, for heHe hathis triumphedhighly gloriously:exalted; The horse and hisits rider hathHe hehas thrownhurled into the sea.
15:2 JehovahThe Lord is my strength and song, And heHe ishas become my salvation:; This is my God, and I will praise himHim; My fathers God, and I will exaltextol himHim.
15:3 JehovahThe Lord is a manwarrior; ofThe war:Lord Jehovah is hisHis name.
15:4 Pharaohs chariots and his hostarmy hathHe hehas cast into the sea; And the choicest of his chosenofficers captains are sunkdrowned in the Red Sea.
15:5 The deeps cover them:; They went down into the depths like a stone.
15:6 Thy right hand, O JehovahLord, is gloriousmajestic in power, Thy right hand, O JehovahLord, dashethshatters in pieces the enemy.
15:7 And in the greatness of thineThine excellencyexcellence thouThou overthrowestdost themoverthrow thatthose who rise up against thee:Thee; Thou sendestdost send forth thyThy wrathburning anger, and it consumethconsumes them as stubblechaff.
15:8 And withat the blast of thyThy nostrils the waters were piled up, The floodsflowing waters stood uprightup aslike a heap; The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.
15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfiedgratified uponagainst them; I will draw out my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
15:10 Thou didst blow with thyThy wind, the sea covered them:; They sank aslike lead in the mighty waters.
15:11 Who is like untoThee thee, among Othe Jehovahgods, amongO the godsLord? Who is like theeThee, gloriousmajestic in holiness, FearfulAwesome in praises, doingworking wonders?
15:12 Thou stretchedstdidst stretch out thyThy right hand, The earth swallowed them.
15:13 ThouIn inThy thy lovingkindness Thou hast led the people thatwhom thouThou hast redeemed:; In Thy strength Thou hast guided them in thy strength to thyThy holy habitation.
15:14 The peoples have heard, they tremble:; PangsAnguish havehas takengripped hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.
15:15 Then were the chiefs of Edom were dismayed; The mightyleaders men of Moab, trembling takethgrips hold upon them:; All the inhabitants of Canaan arehave melted away.
15:16 Terror and dread fallethfall upon them; By the greatness of thineThine arm they are asmotionless still as a stone; TillUntil thyThy people pass over, O JehovahLord, TillUntil the people pass over thatwhom thouThou hast purchased.
15:17 Thou wilt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thineThine inheritance, The place, O JehovahLord, which thouThou hast made for theeThy to dwell indwelling, The sanctuary, O Lord, which thyThy hands have established.
15:18 JehovahThe Lord shall reign forforever ever and ever.
15:19 For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen went into the sea, and Jehovahthe Lord brought back the waters of the sea uponon them; but the childrensons of Israel walked on dry land inthrough the midst of the sea.
15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, theAarons sister of Aaron, took athe timbrel in her hand;, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dancesdancing.
15:21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to Jehovahthe Lord, for heHe hathis triumphedhighly gloriouslyexalted; The horse and his rider hathHe hehas thrownhurled into the sea.
15:22 AndThen Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
15:23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter:; therefore the name of it was callednamed Marah.
15:24 AndSo the people murmuredgrumbled againstat Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
15:25 AnThen he cried untoout Jehovah;to the Lord, and Jehovahthe Lord showed him a tree,; and he castthrew it into the waters, and the waters werebecame made sweet. There heHe made for them a statute and an ordinanceregulation, and there heHe provedtested them;.
15:26 andAnd heHe said, If thouyou wiltwill diligentlygive hearkenearnest heed to the voice of Jehovahthe thyLord your God, and wilt do thatwhat which is right in hisHis eyessight, and wilt give ear to hisHis commandments, and keep all hisHis statutes, I will put none of the diseases uponon thee, you which I have put uponon the Egyptians:; for I, amthe JehovahLord, thatam healethyour theehealer.
15:27 AndThen they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water, and threescoreseventy anddate tenpalms, palm trees: and they encampedcamped there bybeside the waters.
16:1 AndThen they tookset theirout journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the childrensons of Israel came untoto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departingdeparture outfrom of the land of Egypt.
16:2 And the whole congregation of the childrensons of Israel murmuredgrumbled against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness:.
16:3 andAnd the childrensons of Israel said untoto them, Would that we had died by the Lords hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots potsof meat, when we didate eat bread to the full; for yeyou have brought us forthout into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
16:4 Then the Lord said Jehovahto unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a days portion every day, that I may provetest them, whether or not they will walk in myMy law, or notinstruction.
16:5 And it shallwill come toabout pass on the sixth day, thatwhen they shall prepare thatwhat which they bring in, and it shallwill be twice as much as they gather daily.
16:6 AndSo Moses and Aaron said untoto all the childrensons of Israel, At even,evening thenyou yewill shall know that Jehovahthe hathLord has brought you out fromof the land of Egypt;
16:7 and in the morning, thenyou yewill shall see the glory of Jehovah;the Lord, for thatHe hehears heareth your murmuringsgrumblings against Jehovah:the Lord; and what are we, that yeyou murmurgrumble against us?
16:8 And Moses said, This shallwill be,happen when Jehovahthe shallLord givegives you inmeat the evening flesh to eat, and in the morningevening, and bread to the full in the morning; for thatthe JehovahLord hearethhears your murmuringsgrumblings which yeyou murmurgrumble against him:Him. andAnd what are we? yourYour murmuringsgrumblings are not against us, but against Jehovahthe Lord.
16:9 AndThen Moses said untoto Aaron, Say untoto all the congregation of the childrensons of Israel, Come near before Jehovah;the Lord, for heHe hathhas heard your murmuringsgrumblings.
16:10 And it came toabout pass, as Aaron spakespoke untoto the whole congregation of the childrensons of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of Jehovahthe Lord appeared in the cloud.
16:11 And Jehovahthe spakeLord untospoke to Moses, saying,
16:12 I have heard the murmuringsgrumblings of the childrensons of Israel:; speak untoto them, saying, At eventwilight yeyou shall eat fleshmeat, and in the morning yeyou shall be filled with bread:; and yeyou shall know that I am Jehovahthe Lord your God.
16:13 AndSo it came toabout pass at even, evening that the quails came up, and covered the camp:, and in the morning thethere dewwas laya roundlayer aboutof dew around the camp.
16:14 AndWhen when the dewlayer thatof laydew was gone upevaporated, behold, uponon the facesurface of the wilderness there was a smallfine roundflakelike thing, smallfine as the hoar frost on the ground.
16:15 AndWhen when the childrensons of Israel saw it, they said to one to another, What is it? forFor they knewdid not know what it was. And Moses said untoto them, It is the bread which Jehovahthe hathLord has given you to eat.
16:16 This is what the thingLord whichhas Jehovah hath commanded., Gather ye of it every man accordingas tomuch hisas eatinghe should eat; you shall take an omer aapiece head, according to the number of your persons, shalleach yeof takeyou it,has every man for them that are in his tent.
16:17 And the childrensons of Israel did so, and some gathered somemuch more, and some lesslittle.
16:18 AndWhen when they measured it with an omer, he thatwho had gathered much had nothingno overexcess, and he thatwho had gathered little had no lack; theyevery man gathered everyas manmuch accordingas tohe hisshould eatingeat.
16:19 And Moses said untoto them, Let no man leave any of it tilluntil the morning.
16:20 NotwithstandingBut they hearkeneddid not untolisten to Moses;, butand some ofleft thempart left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul:; and Moses was wrothangry with them.
16:21 And they gathered it morning by morning, every man accordingas tomuch hisas eating:he andshould eat; but when the sun waxedgrew hot, it meltedwould melt.
16:22 AndNow it came toabout pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one:. andWhen all the rulersleaders of the congregation came and told Moses.,
16:23 Andthen he said untoto them, This is thatwhat whichthe JehovahLord hathmeant: spoken,Tomorrow To morrow is a solemnsabbath restobservance, a holy sabbath untoto Jehovah:the bakeLord. thatBake whichwhat yeyou will bake, and boil thatwhat whichyou ye will boil;, and all that remainethis left over layput upaside for you to be kept until the morning.
16:24 AndSo they laidput it upaside tilluntil the morning, as Moses bade:had ordered, and it did not become foul, neithernor was there any worm thereinin it.
16:25 And Moses said, Eat thatit totoday, day; for totoday day is a sabbath untoto Jehovah:the toLord; daytoday yeyou shallwill not find it in the field.
16:26 Six days yeyou shall gather it;, but on the seventh day, is the sabbath, in it there shallwill be none.
16:27 And it came toabout pass on the seventh day, that there went out some of the people went out to gather, andbut they found none.
16:28 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, How long do you refuse ye to keep myMy commandments and myMy lawsinstructions?
16:29 See, forthe thatLord Jehovahhas hath given you the sabbath,; therefore heHe givethgives you bread for two days on the sixth day. theRemain bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place,; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
16:31 And the house of Israel callednamed theit namemanna, thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and theits taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
16:32 AndThen Moses said, This is what the thingLord whichhas Jehovah hath commanded, Let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread wherewiththat I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forthout fromof the land of Egypt.
16:33 And Moses said untoto Aaron, Take a pot,jar and put an omerful of manna thereinin it, and layplace it up before Jehovahthe Lord, to be kept throughout your generations.
16:34 As Jehovahthe Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron laidplaced it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
16:35 And the childrensons of Israel didate eat the manna forty years, until they came to aan inhabited land inhabited; they didate eat the manna, until they came untoto the bordersborder of the land of Canaan.
16:36 Now an omer is thea tenth part of an ephah.
17:1 AndThen all the congregation of the childrensons of Israel journeyed by stages from the wilderness of Sin, by their journeys, according to the commandmentcommand of Jehovahthe Lord, and encampedcamped inat Rephidim:, and there was no water for the people to drink.
17:2 WhereforeTherefore the people strovequarreled with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said untoto them, Why strivedo yeyou quarrel with me? WhereforeWhy do yeyou tempttest Jehovahthe Lord?
17:3 AndBut the people thirsted there for water; and thethey peoplegrumbled murmured against Moses, and said, WhereforeWhy, hastnow, thouhave you brought us up outfrom of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattlelivestock with thirst?
17:4 AndSo Moses cried untoout Jehovahto the Lord, saying, What shall I do untoto this people? theyA arelittle almostmore readyand tothey will stone me.
17:5 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Pass on before the people, and take with theeyou some of the elders of Israel; and thytake rod,in wherewithyour thouhand smotestyour thestaff river, with takewhich inyou thystruck handthe Nile, and go.
17:6 Behold, I will stand before theeyou there uponon the rock inat Horeb; and thouyou shaltshall smitestrike the rock, and therewater shallwill come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
17:7 And he callednamed the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the strivingquarrel of the childrensons of Israel, and because they temptedtested Jehovahthe Lord, saying, Is Jehovahthe Lord among us, or not?
17:8 Then Amalek came Amalek, and fought withagainst Israel inat Rephidim.
17:9 AndSo Moses said untoto Joshua, Choose usmen outfor menus, and go out, fight withagainst Amalek:. toTomorrow morrow I will standstation myself on the top of the hill with the rodstaff of God in my hand.
17:10 SoAnd Joshua did as Moses hadtold said to him, and fought withagainst Amalek:; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
17:11 AndSo it came toabout pass, when Moses held up his hand up, that Israel prevailed;, and when he let down his hand down, Amalek prevailed.
17:12 But Moses hands were heavy;. andThen they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereonon it; and Aaron and Hur stayedsupported up his hands, the one on the one side, and theone other on the other. side; Thus and his hands were steady until the goingsun down of the sunset.
17:13 AndSo Joshua discomfitedoverwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
17:14 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, Write this forin a memorialbook inas a bookmemorial, and rehearserecite it into the ears of Joshua:, that I will utterly blot out the remembrancememory of Amalek from under heaven.
17:15 And Moses built an altar, and callednamed theit nameThe ofLord itis JehovahMy nissiBanner;
17:16 and he said, JehovahThe hathLord has sworn:; Jehovahthe Lord will have war withagainst Amalek from generation to generation.
18:1 Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel hisHis people, how thatthe JehovahLord had brought Israel out of Egypt.
18:2 And Jethro, Moses father in law, took Zipporah, Moses wife Zipporah, after he had sent her away,
18:3 and her two sons;, of whom the name of the one was named Gershom;, for he said, I have been a sojourner in a foreign land:.
18:4 andAnd the name of the other was named Eliezer;, for he said, The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh.
18:5 AndThen Jethro, Moses father in law, came with his sons and his wife untoto Moses intoin the wilderness where he was encampedcamped, at the mount of God:.
18:6 andAnd he saidsent untoword to Moses, I, thyyour father in law Jethro, am comecoming untoto thee, you andwith thyyour wife, and her two sons with her.
18:7 AndThen Moses went out to meet his father in law, and didhe obeisance, bowed down and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare;, and theywent came into the tent.
18:8 And Moses told his father in law all that Jehovahthe Lord had done untoto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israels sake, all the travailhardship that had comebefallen upon them byon the wayjourney, and how Jehovahthe Lord had delivered them.
18:9 And Jethro rejoiced forover all the goodness which Jehovahthe Lord had done to Israel, in thatdelivering he had delivered them outfrom of the hand of the Egyptians.
18:10 AndSo Jethro said, Blessed be Jehovah, the Lord who hath delivered you outfrom of the hand of the Egyptians, and outfrom of the hand of Pharaoh;, and who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
18:11 Now I know that Jehovahthe Lord is greater than all the gods; yeaindeed, init thewas thingproven whereinwhen they dealt proudly against themthe people.
18:12 AndThen Jethro, Moses father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God:, and Aaron came, andwith all the elders of Israel, to eat breada meal with Moses father in law before God.
18:13 And it came toabout passthe onnext theday morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people:, and the people stood about Moses from the morning untountil the evening.
18:14 AndNow when Moses father in law saw all that he didwas todoing for the people, he said, What is this thing that thouyou doestare todoing for the people? whyWhy sittestdo thouyou thyself alone, sit as judge and all the people stand about theeyou from morning untountil evenevening?
18:15 And Moses said untoto his father in law, Because the people come untoto me to inquire of God:.
18:16 whenWhen they have a matterdispute, theyit comecomes untoto me;, and I judge between a man and his neighbor, and I make themknown know the statutes of God, and hisHis laws.
18:17 And Moses father in law said untoto him, The thing that thouyou doestare doing is not good.
18:18 ThouYou wiltwill surely wear awayout, both thou, yourself and thisthese people thatwho isare with thee:you, for the thingtask is too heavy for theeyou; thouyou artcannot notdo able to perform it thyself alone.
18:19 HearkenNow nowlisten untoto myme: voice, I willshall give theeyou counsel, and God be with thee:you. You be thouthe forpeoples therepresentative peoplebefore to God ward, and you bring thou the causesdisputes untoto God:,
18:20 andthen thou shalt teach them the statutes and the laws, and shaltmake showknown to them the way whereinin which they mustare to walk, and the work that they mustare to do.
18:21 MoreoverFurthermore, thouyou shaltshall provideselect out of all the people able men, suchwho as fear God, men of truth, hatingthose unjustwho hate dishonest gain; and you shall place suchthese over them, toas beleaders rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:.
18:22 andAnd let them judge the people at all seasons:times; and let it shall be, that every greatmajor matterdispute they shallwill bring untoto theeyou, but every smallminor matterdispute they shallthemselves will judge. themselves:So soit shallwill it be easier for thyselfyou, and they shallwill bear the burden with theeyou.
18:23 If thouyou shalt do this thing, and God commandso theecommands soyou, then thouyou shaltwill be able to endure, and all thisthese people also shallwill go to their place in peace.
18:24 So Moses hearkenedlistened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulersleaders of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
18:26 And they judged the people at all seasons:times; the harddifficult causesdispute they broughtwould untobring to Moses, but every smallminor matterdispute they judgedthemselves themselveswould judge.
18:27 AndThen Moses letbade his father in law depart;farewell, and he went his way into his own land.
19:1 In the third month after the childrensons of Israel werehad gone forth out of the land of Egypt, theon samethat very day they came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
19:2 AndWhen when they wereset departedout from Rephidim, andthey werecame come to the wilderness of Sinai, theyand encampedcamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encampedcamped beforein front of the mountmountain.
19:3 And Moses went up untoto God, and Jehovahthe Lord called untoto him outfrom of the mountain, saying, Thus shaltyou thoushall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the childrensons of Israel:
19:4 YeYou yourselves have seen what I did untoto the Egyptians, and how I barebore you on eagles wings, and brought you untoto myselfMyself.
19:5 Now thereforethen, if yeyou will indeed obey myMy voice indeed, and keep myMy covenant, then yeyou shall be mineMy own possession from among all the peoples:, for all the earth is mine:Mine;
19:6 and yeyou shall be untoto meMe a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words whichthat thouyou shaltshall speak untoto the childrensons of Israel.
19:7 AndSo Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Jehovahthe Lord had commanded him.
19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that Jehovahthe hathLord has spoken we will do.! And Moses reportedbrought back the words of the people untoto Jehovahthe Lord.
19:9 And Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, LoBehold, I shall come untoto theeyou in a thick cloud, in order that the people may hear when I speak with theeyou, and may also believe theein foryou everforever. AndThen Moses told the words of the people untoto Jehovahthe Lord.

19:11 and let them be ready againstfor the third day;, for on the third day Jehovahthe Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
19:12 And thouyou shaltshall set bounds untofor the people roundall aboutaround, saying, TakeBeware heedthat toyou yourselves,do thatnot ye go not up intoon the mount, mountain or touch the border of it:; whosoeverwhoever touchethtouches the mountmountain shall surely be surely put to death:.
19:13 noNo hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, he shall not live:. whenWhen the trumpetrams soundethhorn sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountmountain.

19:15 And he said untoto the people, Be ready againstfor the third day:; comedo not go near a woman.
19:16 AndSo it came toabout pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thundersthunder and lightnings, lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mount, mountain and thea voicevery ofloud a trumpet exceedingsound, loud;so andthat all the people thatwho were in the camp trembled.
19:17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God;, and they stood at the netherfoot part of the mountmountain.
19:18 AndNow mountMount Sinai, thewas wholeall ofin it,smoke smoked, because Jehovahthe Lord descended upon it in fire; and theits smoke thereof ascended aslike the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountmountain quaked greatlyviolently.
19:19 AndWhen when the voicesound of the trumpet waxedgrew louder and louder, Moses spake, spoke and God answered him bywith a voicethunder.
19:20 And Jehovahthe Lord came down uponon mountMount Sinai, to the top of the mount:mountain; and Jehovahthe Lord called Moses to the top of the mount;mountain, and Moses went up.
19:21 AndThen Jehovahthe saidLord untospoke to Moses, Go down, chargewarn the people, lest they break through untoto Jehovahthe Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.
19:22 And also let the priests also, who that come near to Jehovah, the sanctifyLord consecrate themselves, lest Jehovahthe Lord break forthout uponagainst them.
19:23 And Moses said untoto Jehovahthe Lord, The people cannot come up to mountMount Sinai:, for thouThou didst chargewarn us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, mountain and sanctifyconsecrate it.
19:24 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord said untoto him, Go, get thee down; and thou shalt come up, thouagain, you and Aaron with thee:you; but letdo not let the priests and the people break through to come up untoto Jehovahthe Lord, lest heHe break forth upon them.

31:17 It is a sign between meMe and the childrensons of Israel forforever; ever: for in six days Jehovahthe Lord made heaven and earth, andbut on the seventh day heHe restedceased from labor, and was refreshed.
31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when heHe had madefinished anspeaking end of communing with him upon mountMount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablestablets of the testimony, tablestablets of stone, written withby the finger of God.
32:1 AndNow when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountmountain, the people gatheredassembled themselvesabout together unto Aaron, and said untoto him, UpCome, make us gods,a whichgod shallwho will go before us; for as for this Moses, the man thatwho brought us up outfrom of the land of Egypt, we knowdo not know what ishas become of him.
32:2 And Aaron said untoto them, BreakTear off the goldengold rings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them untoto me.
32:3 AndThen all the people braketore off the goldengold rings which were in their ears, and brought them untoto Aaron.
32:4 And he receivedtook itthis atfrom their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it into a molten calf:; and they said, TheseThis areis thyyour godsgod, O Israel, whichwho brought theeyou up outfrom of the land of Egypt.
32:5 AndNow when Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made a proclamation, and said, ToTomorrow morrow shall be a feast to Jehovahthe Lord.
32:6 AndSo the next day they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
32:7 AndThen Jehovahthe spakeLord untospoke to Moses, Go, getdown theeat down;once, for thyyour people, thatwhom thouyou broughtestbrought up outfrom of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:.
32:8 theyThey have quickly turned aside quicklyfrom out of the way which I commanded them:. theyThey have made themfor themselves a molten calf, and have worshippedworshiped it, and have sacrificed untoto it, and said, TheseThis areis thyyour godsgod, O Israel, whichwho brought theeyou up outfrom of the land of Egypt.!
32:9 And Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, itthey isare aan stiffneckedobstinate people:.
32:10 nowNow thereforethen let meMe alone, that myMy wrathanger may waxburn hot against them, and that I may consumedestroy them:; and I will make of theeyou a great nation.
32:11 AndThen Moses besoughtentreated Jehovahthe Lord his God, and said, JehovahO Lord, why doth thyThine wrathanger waxburn hot against thyThy people, thatwhom thouThou hast brought forth out offrom the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?
32:12 WhereforeWhy should the Egyptians speak, saying, ForWith evil didintent heHe bringbrought them forth, out to slaykill them in the mountains, and to consumedestroy them from the face of the earth ? Turn from thyThy fierceburning wrath, anger and repentchange ofThy thismind evilabout againstdoing thyharm to Thy people.
32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thyThy servants, to whom thouThou swarestdidst swear by thine own selfThyself, and saidstdidst untosay to them, I will multiply your seeddescendants as the stars of heaventhe heavens, and all this land thatof which I have spoken ofI will I give untoto your seeddescendants, and they shall inherit it for everforever.
32:14 AndSo Jehovahthe repentedLord ofchanged His mind about the evilharm which heHe said heHe would do untoto hisHis people.
32:15 AndThen Moses turned, and went down from the mount, mountain with the two tablestablets of the testimony in his hand;, tablestablets thatwhich were written on both their sides; they were written on the one side and on the other were they written.
32:16 And the tablestablets were theGods work of God, and the writing was theGods writing ofengraved God,on graven upon the tablestablets.
32:17 AndNow when Joshua heard the noisesound of the people as they shouted, he said untoto Moses, There is a noisesound of war in the camp.
32:18 AndBut he said, It is not the voicesound of themthe thatcry shoutof for masterytriumph, neitherNor is it the voicesound of themthe that cry forof being overcomedefeat; butBut the noisesound of themsinging that sing do I hear.
32:19 And it came to passabout, as soon as heMoses came nighnear unto the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing:; and Moses anger waxed hotburned, and he castthrew the tablestablets outfrom of his hands, and brakeshattered them beneathat the mountfoot of the mountain.
32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burntburned it with fire, and ground it to powder, and strewedscattered it uponover the surface of the water, and made the childrensons of Israel drink of it.
32:21 AndThen Moses said untoto Aaron, What did this people untodo theeto you, that thouyou hasthave brought asuch great sin upon them?
32:22 And Aaron said, LetDo not let the anger of my Lord waxburn; hot:you thouknow knowest the people yourself, that they are setprone onto evil.
32:23 For they said untoto me, Make a god for us gods, who whichwill shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man thatwho brought us up outfrom of the land of Egypt, we knowdo not know what ishas become of him.
32:24 And I said untoto them, WhosoeverWhoever hathhas any gold, let them breaktear it off:. soSo they gave it to me;, and I castthrew it into the fire, and thereout came out this calf.
32:25 AndNow when Moses saw that the people were brokenout looseof control for Aaron had let them looseget forout of control to be a derision among their enemies,
32:26 then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, WhosoWhoever is onfor Jehovahsthe sideLord, let him come untoto me.! And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together untoto him.
32:27 And he said untoto them, Thus saithsays Jehovahthe Lord, the God of Israel, PutEvery yeman everyof manyou put his sword upon his thigh, and go toback and froforth from gate to gate throughoutin the camp, and slaykill every man his brother, and every man his companionfriend, and every man his neighbor.
32:28 AndSo the sons of Levi did accordingas toMoses theinstructed, wordand ofabout Moses:three andthousand theremen fell of the people fell that day about three thousand men.
32:29 AndThen Moses said, ConsecrateDedicate yourselves today to daythe toLord Jehovah, for yea, every man has been against his son, and against his brother; in order that heHe may bestow upon you a blessing thisupon dayyou today.
32:30 And it came toabout pass on the morrow, next day that Moses said untoto the people, YeYou yourselves have sinnedcommitted a great sin:; and now I willam gogoing up untoto Jehovah;the peradventureLord, perhaps I shallcan make atonement for your sin.
32:31 AndThen Moses returned untoto Jehovahthe Lord, and said, OhAlas, this people havehas sinnedcommitted a great sin, and they have made thema godsgod of gold for themselves.
32:32 YetBut now, if thouThou wilt, forgive their sin—; and if not, please blot me, I pray thee, out offrom thyThy book which thouThou hast written.!
32:33 And Jehovahthe Lord said untoto Moses, WhosoeverWhoever hathhas sinned against meMe, himI will I blot him out of myMy book.
32:34 AndBut go now go, lead the people untowhere the place of which I havetold spokenyou. unto thee: beholdBehold, mineMy angel shall go before theeyou; nevertheless in the day when I visitpunish, I will visitpunish them for their sin upon them.
32:35 AndThen Jehovahthe Lord smote the people, because of what they madedid with the calf, which Aaron had made.
33:1 AndThen Jehovahthe spakeLord untospoke to Moses, Depart, go up hencefrom here, thouyou and the people thatwhom thouyou hasthave brought up outfrom of the land of Egypt, untoto the land of which I swareswore untoto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, UntoTo thyyour seeddescendants I will I give it:.
33:2 andAnd I will send an angel before thee;you and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:.
33:3 untoGo up to a land flowing with milk and honey:; for I will not go up in theyour midst, ofbecause thee;you forare thouan artobstinate a stiffnecked people;, lest I consumedestroy theeyou inon the way.
33:4 AndWhen when the people heard thesethis evilsad tidingsword, they mourned:went into mourning, and nonone manof didthem put on him his ornaments.
33:5 AndFor Jehovahthe Lord had said untoto Moses, Say untoto the childrensons of Israel, YeYou are aan stiffneckedobstinate people; ifshould I go up intoin theyour midst of thee for one moment, I shallwould consumedestroy thee:you. Now therefore, now put off thyyour ornaments from theeyou, that I may know what toI will do untowith theeyou.
33:6 AndSo the childrensons of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments from mountMount Horeb onward.
33:7 Now Moses used to take the tent and to pitch it withoutoutside the camp, afara offgood distance from the camp;, and he called it, Thethe tent of meeting. And it came to passabout, that everyeveryone onewho that sought Jehovahthe wentLord would go out untoto the tent of meeting, which was withoutoutside the camp.
33:8 And it came to passabout, whenwhenever Moses went out untoto the Tenttent, that all the people rosewould up,arise and stoodstand, everyeach man at the entrance of his tent door, and lookedgaze after Moses, until he wasentered gone into the Tenttent.
33:9 And it came to passabout, whenwhenever Moses entered into the Tenttent, the pillar of cloud descended, would descend and stoodstand at the doorentrance of the Tent:tent; and Jehovahthe spakeLord would speak with Moses.
33:10 AndWhen all the people saw the pillar of cloud standstanding at the doorentrance of the Tent:tent, and all the people rosewould uparise and worshippedworship, everyeach man at the entrance of his tent door.
33:11 AndThus Jehovahthe spakeLord untoused to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speakethspeaks untoto his friend. AndWhen heMoses turnedreturned againto into the camp:, but his ministerservant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departedwould not outdepart offrom the Tenttent.
33:12 AndThen Moses said untoto Jehovahthe Lord, See, thouThou sayestdost untosay to me, Bring up this people:! andBut thouThou Thyself hast not let me know whom thouThou wilt send with me. YetMoreover, thouThou hast said, I knowhave theeknown you by name, and thouyou hasthave also found favor in myMy sight.
33:13 Now therefore, I pray theeThee, if I have found favor in thyThy sight, showlet me nowknow thyThy ways, that I may know theeThee, toso the end that I may find favor in thyThy sight:. andConsider considertoo, that this nation is thyThy people.
