On Wednesday mornings, CBS 11 in Dallas has a segment called “Faces of Faith.” In this morning’s show, they asked a local Rabbi (Zvi Drizin, director of The Intown Chabad) and me about social media in ministry.
We talked a little about how technology always brings trade-offs, how it would be a mistake for ministries not to be in social media since that’s where people are, and that I personally think we should use social media to direct people toward meeting face-to-face.
It was pretty fun to do, although I must say it’s never fun to see yourself on video.
So what do you think? What would you have added? How do you think “religious groups” should use social media?
